About the Author
Hey there! I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for
purchasing a copy of my training guide. I would not be able to do this
without you so I am sincerely grateful for your support.
In early 2016, I made my debut on Tumblr where I accepted my love
for diapers and dove headfirst into the ABDL lifestyle. At the time of
this guide being released, I have accrued over 24k followers. I spent
years writing diaper training articles based on my own experiences that
became the foundation for this training guide. I spent a lot of time
testing out different training methodologies so that I could find the
secret to diaper dependency that we have all been searching for.
Well, I found it. And now, so have you.
After the success of my diaper training guide, I opened up The Diaper
Training Academy on Discord in 2018 where I have personally trained
well over a thousand people. I offer a wide range of services to help you
along your journey including this guide, one-on-one training, and even
an intensive training regimen for those who desire diaper dependency
above all else.
I sincerely hope that my experiences and knowledge held within this
guide can make your dreams come true as it has for me and so many
others. I’ve been dependent on diapers for over seven years now and I
have loved every second of it. Diapers truly are the way to genuine
happiness and with my help, I am certain you will come to find the joy
you seek.

What is Diaper Training?
Diaper training is the process where, as normal and healthy adults, one
works to overcome the burdens of potty training by conditioning their
bladder to act differently. By making a fully relaxed bladder your new
normal, you will eventually lose all bladder capacity and feel the urge to
pee far sooner than before, necessitating the need for adult diapers.
As adults, we’ve been conditioned to go to the bathroom as soon as we
get a full bladder. With diaper training, your new instinct will be to let
your bladder relax and use your diaper when you feel the smallest
amount of urine in your bladder. Letting it expand will keep you
continent. Simply wearing diapers will not make you need them. One
must train to make diaper dependency happen.
Contrary to popular belief, even when you’re diaper dependent, you
will still feel yourself peeing some of the time. All of the nerves are still
intact down there. However, you will have a very difficult time holding
it and you may not even notice that you just peed. You will have to wear
a diaper out of need rather than want.
Over time, you’ll find it easier to use your diapers to the point where
you’ll start peeing without conscious thought. It’ll be something that
just happens because you’re not paying attention to it. Training lowers
your bladders capacity and your level of control through constant
wetting. The more often you pee, the smaller your bladder gets. This
makes you feel like you need to pee more often and sooner than before.
The less you use your bladders muscles, the more they will weaken.
This is the diaper training process.
3
Is Diaper Dependency Right for Me?
If you’re in a good position financially, physically, and emotionally,
only then can you ask yourself such a heavy question. Becoming
dependent on diapers, while fun, can take a big toll on you if you are
not prepared. Before you start training to lose your bladder control, you
must adhere to my guidelines.
Don't let diaper training negatively affect your life. If you stop seeing
your family and friends because you’re afraid that they might notice
your diaper, this will negatively affect your mental health and form a
negative association with your diapers.
Your health always takes priority over training and diapers. Don't stay
in a diaper so long that it hurts your skin or affects your genital health.
If you develop a health problem from wearing diapers, stop training
temporarily to let yourself heal, then figure out what went wrong so that
it won’t happen again in the future.
Don't let diapers hurt you financially. Be sure you can afford the costs
of training before committing. Once you have lost most of your bladder
control, it is difficult to back out if you get second thoughts. Can you
afford the costs of needing diapers? If you can’t afford the high cost of
diapers, you will not succeed.
Be respectful of everyone around you. Do not flaunt your diapers
around others in public and at work. Be respectful and mindful of those
that you live and work with.
Accept yourself and your desire to be diapered. We were born with an
innate need to wear diapers. If you haven’t worn diapers around other
4
people, you need to practice and get comfortable with it because it will
inevitably happen. Do you have it within yourself to wear around
people you work with? That you’re friends with? If you haven’t already,
go out and see how you feel. It can be a little scary at first. If I can do it,
then you can as well.
Have you spent more than a month wearing 24/7? Those that have worn
diapers this long have a higher chance of succeeding once they start
training. I didn’t train myself all in one go. I wore 24/7 for a couple
weeks, took a break, then wore 24/7 for a month, took a break, then so
on and so forth until I reached a point where I needed to wear diapers.
My control started slipping rapidly once I reached that point. This
process doesn’t have to be linear; it can fluctuate up and down.
Do you have a job that makes it easy to wear diapers to work? Physical
labor jobs suck, especially when you’re wearing diapers. Working in
emergency services, as a police officer, as a firefighter, or any similar
job would make being diaper dependent impossible. Your ideal job
would be something you could do in an office or from home. Diapers
keep you from physically performing at your best so if other people
depend on you in a life-or-death situation, then I recommend that you
find a different job if you want to be diaper dependent.
Are you prepared to tell your partner or future partner that you need
diapers? You will not be able to hide this from any love interests. You
need them to be on board with you and your diapers otherwise the
relationship and your training will fail.
If you answered no to any of these questions, take some time before you
fully commit and target the areas that you aren’t 100% on. There’s a lot
5
of info in this guide that can help you overcome your fears or
shortcomings and help you achieve the life you want.
Will it be easy? No.
Will you face many obstacles and have hard days? Of course.
Will it be worth it? Absolutely.
There are more costs associated with this lifestyle than one might think.
Naturally, there are the costs of the diapers themselves and other related
supplies, but have you thought about the cost of buying a whole new
wardrobe? The clothes you have now may not be your best choice for
your new life back in diapers so go shopping for new clothes while
diapered to see what fits and what doesn’t fit. You can spread this cost
out across many months as you grow accustomed to your new life.
Before you start training, start putting money in a separate account to
see if you can afford to spend $300 a month or more on diapers. Not
only will this help you save up money for them, this allows you to see
the financial impact of being dependent on diapers. If you don’t have
one already, set up a budget and see what you can realistically spend on
diapers, supplies, and new clothes. If you can’t comfortably fit all of
these new expenses into your budget, you are not ready for diaper
dependency.
Did you know that you can start training without diapers? All you have
to do is go sit on the toilet at least once or twice a day for no less than
thirty minutes and let your bladder completely relax. Drink some water
to keep you peeing. Work on peeing in very, very small amounts until
your bladder is empty. This will severely limit your bladders ability to
6
expand and hold urine if done properly. This exercise is explained in
greater detail later.
Start researching diaper dependency hypnosis files. There is a distinct
difference between fetish hypnosis and helpful diaper dependency
hypnosis. You can typically tell which is which if the wording is geared
towards fetishy stuff, littles, or other adult baby stuff. Personally, I’ve
found great success using Baby Pants’s bedwetting file. Sarnoga’s
Diaper Dependence files also worked very well for me. Test some out
and see what works best for you. What works for one may not work for
another.
After doing some training exercises and a little hypnosis, you may
already start to feel some of the effects. One of the easiest signs to
recognize if you should be back in diapers is if you feel your underwear
grow a little bit damp after you finish peeing in the toilet. This is a sign
of a weakened bladder, one that feels like it’s empty when you’re not. A
weak bladder that dribbles like this is exactly what you want to have
while in training. Unlike diapers, panties and boxers don’t have any
odor control. Once you get your panties or boxers wet, the smell of
urine will stick around and make it obvious you just had an accident,
even if it’s a small one. Diapers are specifically designed to neutralize
those odors and keep them contained.
When we wear panties or boxers, we are forced to take time out of our
day to go use the bathroom. How much time do you spend in the
bathroom every day? Every week? Using the bathroom takes a lot of
time out of your day, so for this example, let’s say that it takes you 2
minutes to pee and about 10 to poop. If you pee 5 times a day, that’s 10
minutes per day. Studies show that there is no accepted measure for
how often you should poop, so let’s just say 5 times per 7 days just for
7
the sake of the argument. In a week’s time, you’re in the bathroom for
70 minutes just peeing and you’re spending 50 minutes a week pooping.
Combined, that’s 2 hours of time spent using the bathroom each week, 8
hours a month, and 96 hours a year. You are spending 4 days’ worth of
time simply using the bathroom every year.
Diaper changes take a minute at most once you get good at changing
yourself, and if you go through 4 diapers a day, that’s only 4 minutes a
day changing yourself. That’s 28 minutes a week, 112 minutes a month,
and 1344 minutes a year. This results in roughly 22.5 hours of changing
your diaper per year, just under a day’s worth of time. When you
compare the two numbers, you get 3 full days of time back simply
wearing diapers. What can you do with 3 more days every year? Is the
cost of diapers worth getting back 3 whole days worth of time?
Becoming dependent on diapers isn’t the easiest thing to do, but with
this guide, you should find it fairly straightforward to lose your bladder
capacity and control. Living alone in your own apartment/home is
important. Diaper training is much more difficult if you have to worry
about your parents, family, friends, or roommates finding out about
your new choice of underwear. Used diapers smell, and while you can
take steps to mitigate those smells, people will always find out
eventually. You’ll always be wondering if a family member or a friend
saw you wearing a diaper, if they discovered your stash, or if they found
a used diaper. I’m sure you already know how hard it is to wear diapers
discreetly around your family, so your best bet to be successful in diaper
training is to live by yourself.

How to Overcome the Binge/Purge Cycle
Overcoming this dreadful cycle is hard, but it can be done. No matter
how these wonderful desires of ours developed, we’re stuck with it for
life. You cannot get rid of it. Learning to accept and love yourself for
who you are can only lead to happiness and personal growth.
This brutal cycle can last for several months or more until you learn to
accept this side of yourself. It is a huge waste of money to get rid of
everything you buy with each cycle. Hating yourself for having this
beautiful fetish is a form of self violence. With only one life to live,
why waste what little time we have on this planet hurting ourselves for
hating something we were born with?
When you feel like throwing away all of the stuff you bought, take a
step back and do something else to get your mind off of the negative
feelings. If you will inevitably buy more diapers and other related
goods, why not save yourself the time, stress, and money and simply
stash your goods in a box and shove it in the back of your closet until
you’re ready to open it again? Getting rid of your diapers will not get
rid of your desires.
Learning to accept one’s love and innate need for diapers isn’t easy, but
it can be done and you will emerge a better and stronger person because
of it. If you’re struggling on this part, read some self-help books and
spend some time on inner reflection. While they might not give you the
answer to all of your problems, I’m certain they can at least help you
get started in the right direction.

Diaper Dependency General Knowledge
You should not expect immediate results when it comes to diaper
dependency training. Some people have become so used to wearing
diapers that their bladder just lets loose the moment that they get
padded while others can’t let go at all because they aren’t used to
wearing diapers. You’ve been toilet trained for two decades or more, so
learning how to give up control and learning how to wet yourself
automatically will take some time to overcome those deeply-ingrained
skills of toilet training. However, it doesn’t matter if you’re new to
wearing diapers or not because the end result will be the same if you put
in the time and training.
Being toilet trained and holding our body’s waste has become so normal
for us that we barely give it any thought until our body tells us that we
need to go to the bathroom. This guide is here to change that. It’s
important to live your life as an incontinent person from day one of
training. If you train hard enough, you’ll notice that if you go back to
panties or boxers that your bladder capacity will be slightly less than
before, meaning that you’ll feel like you have to pee more often. This is
normal and is exactly what we want for you to achieve while in
training. You may even notice that your underwear is slightly damp
after peeing.
By making your bladder smaller through the act of wetting in very
small amounts and by not holding it, you’ll feel like you have to pee
more because your bladder is losing its capacity. Losing your bladders
capacity makes it so that your bladder feels like you have to pee sooner
than before. It’s an endless loop that will eventually end up with your
bladder shrinking so small that you’ll just dribble all day and all night
long. The relaxed wetting helps with this a lot.
10
Back when I was diaper training myself, I would spend hours a day
training and I wouldn’t stop for weeks. I got burned out a few times
along the way and became hesitant sometimes about what I was doing
to myself. However, when I took things slow, I was able to think it all
the way through and figure out that I wanted to live the rest of my life
back in diapers. I don’t want you to do what I did and try to race
through everything you need to do in order to become diaper dependent.
You might get burnt out like I did and you might give up diaper training
altogether. By taking baby steps and by taking occasional breaks from
training along the way for a day or two at a time, you’ll be able to
slowly but surely lose your bladder control and achieve what your heart
desires.
Starting your journey to diaper dependence would be best when you
have a couple of days off work. Go sit on the toilet and drink a lot of
water followed by an accelerant like coffee, soda, tea, or cranberry
juice, then followed again with another glass of water. You need to learn
to let your bladders muscles fully relax and stay open after urinating.
After a bit of practice, after you finish peeing, a great sign that the
training is working is if you are able to let a little extra dribble out of
you once you’re done peeing. An easy way to see if your bladder is
weakening is to put your old undies on and walk around for a minute
after peeing in the toilet. If you feel a wet patch down there without
feeling yourself peeing, well done! That means you need to wear
diapers. You don’t want to keep getting your undies wet, do you? Of
course not. Diapers will keep you safe from now on.
If you want to commit to this new way of life, removing your old
underwear from view or from easy access will help a lot. If it’s easier to
change into your old undies, then you’ll probably end up taking the
11
easiest path. However, if you make it harder for you to put on another
pair of old undies and make it easier to put on another diaper, then
you’ll find it easier to stay in diapers. If you really want to show
yourself that you’re committed to wearing diapers again, you can cut up
all of your old undies and throw them in the trash. This is a great
method to cement your need for diapers by making them your only
option for underwear. However, for those new to the diaper training
scene, I recommend saving a few pairs just in case for those times
where you simply cannot wear a diaper and you’re still in the early
stages of diaper training. You will eventually have to dispose of those in
the future.
By wearing diapers all the time, you will lose some of that fetish
appeal. For men, it’s good to lose some of that fetish appeal because
you will find it extremely hard to pee through an erection. You need to
be flaccid. If you still find that the idea of wearing diapers gives you an
erection, you must make yourself cum in your diaper and keep wearing
it, even if you feel the urge to take it off and put on your old undies. By
doing this over multiple weeks, your body will come to learn that
diapers are a normal thing for you to be wearing and you’ll stop
becoming aroused at the idea of diapers.
In order to become diaper dependent, you must ensure that you keep a
large supply of good diapers on hand at all times. Buy some samples of
different diapers that you’d like to potentially train in and test them out
to see what works best for you. I chose to go with the Abena M4 for
starters and I used them all the way through my training until I became
diaper dependent. If I had to do it all over again, I would use a diaper
called BetterDry. You should always stick with whatever diaper makes
you feel the most secure based on performance, as different diapers will
fit other people differently.
12
Personally, I use a variety of brands to keep things fun and interesting.
First and foremost, I recommend finding a diaper that you trust 100%.
For me, that’s BetterDry and Crinklz (Crinklz is the same diaper as
BetterDry but with prints). I have spent so much time in these diapers
that I have learned their limits quite well. You can do the same; it really
does just take a lot of time and a lot of diapers to really get to know
your diaper.
There are a couple of ways to see if your diaper training is working.
One of the ways is if your bladder feels a little pain when you try to
hold it for the first time in a while. Your bladder will have been in its
new relaxed default state for so long that trying to hold it will result in a
brief stinging sensation. This is one of the main signs that you’re on the
right track, and if you keep it up, you’ll be well along the path of diaper
dependency. You may even fear feeling that pain down there again,
ensuring that you never clamp down again. Lean into that fear and
allow yourself to become what you’ve always dreamed of.
The second way to see if you’ve made any progress is when it starts to
feel like an effort to try to hold any amount of pee in your bladder. In
time, it’ll become a losing battle trying to stay completely focused on
holding your bladder. It is at this point where you would feel like you
don’t trust yourself to go without a diaper. Embrace that feeling. Do you
want to concentrate on holding your bladder all the time or let fate take
its course and let it make you dependent on diapers?
You can become toilet trained from this stage if you wish. It is at this
point that you need to make a choice which will impact your life in a
big way: will you go back to being toilet trained or will you let the rest
of your bladder control and capacity slip away to fulfill your dreams?
13
Diaper Training Phases
A lot of people find it difficult to gauge what phase they’re at while in
training. I fully understand how frustrating this process can be,
especially when it feels like you’re not making any progress. Because
of this, I’ve come up with a lot of easy, achievable steps you can use to
see where you are in your journey.
Goals in italics = repeat for each phase.
Phase 1 Goals:
Wear diapers for one month 24/7 and get used to wearing
diapers daily.
Wear diapers to work but don’t pee in them. Use them like you
would your old undies.
Perform the relaxed wetting exercise for a half hour every day.
Exercise details found on page 21
Practice wetting your diaper sitting, lying down, and standing.
Go shopping for new clothes to hide your diapers better.
If you haven’t already tried wearing diapers 24/7 for an extended period
of time, now is the best time to give it a shot. Wearing diapers all the
time can feel a bit daunting in the beginning, but it turns into an
exhilarating journey, one filled with excitement, completed by the secret
that we’re wearing superior underwear to everyone around us. There are
many tips in this guide to help you get used to wearing diapers.
Start wearing thin diapers to work. I want you to simply wear them;
don’t pee in them. I recommend something discreet like the Tranquility
Slimline or ATN. Stick with plastic-backed diapers and avoid
14
cloth-backed diapers; they let smells out. Find safe and comfortable
places to change your diaper on your lunch break at work. Once you
find a safe place to change, make sure that you change at lunch. This is
non-negotiable. Wearing the same diaper for 8 to 10 hours will make
the diaper break down, lowering its ability to keep you safe. Even
though you’re not using it to pee, it will still absorb sweat and other
bodily fluids. Do not, under any circumstances, subject your coworkers
to your diapers smells just because you’re too nervous to change your
diaper around them. Use the bathroom as you normally would at work
to relieve yourself.
While at home, switch to your thick diapers. Before you change into
them, shower and perform the relaxed wetting every day. This exercise
is all about learning to let your bladder relax and to wet in small,
consistent amounts. You never want to hold it so long as you are
diapered. Check yourself every thirty minutes to ensure you’re staying
empty. You need to remain well-hydrated every day.
Your current wardrobe may or may not accommodate your new choice
in undies. I would take some time and try on all your clothes while in a
diaper that’s about 50% soggy and see what kinds of clothes hide it the
best. If you do not have any good clothes that would keep you feeling
safe and confident in your diapers, wear a fresh diaper and go shopping
for clothes that look good over your diapers. Keep in mind that while
you may not be able to completely hide your diaper from imprinting on
your clothes, you may be able to find clothes that do a much better job
at concealing your diaper than the ones you already have at home.
If you are not able to complete every step in this phase, do not proceed
to Phase 2 and repeat this phase.
15
Phase 2 Goals:
Wear diapers for one more month.
Start wetting your diaper at work before your lunch change.
Listen to the Baby Pants Bedwetting hypnosis file with
headphones four times a week.
Practice wetting your diaper on your back in bed every day.
While at home, focus on wetting every thirty minutes.
Once you’re used to wearing diapers and have settled into your training
routine from Phase 1, start wetting your diapers a little bit while at work
an hour before your diaper change at lunch. This will get you used to
wearing a wet diaper at work. Each week, add another hour onto that. If
you change at noon, you should wet your diaper at 11 AM. Next week
you should wet at 10 AM and have to wait two hours to change at noon.
You don’t need to do a full bladder release in the beginning, you need
just enough for you to feel a little comforting warmth down there.
However, once you move to thicker diapers at work, you will eventually
start using the diaper to fully relieve your bladder.
Start listening to the Baby Pants Bedwetting hypnosis file four times a
night. Learn what it means to go into trance. Research what hypnosis is
and what it can and cannot do. It’s not something magical like in the
movies. It’s a tool that can help you learn a new normal. Use
noise-canceling headphones. Find out the best practices for when you
listen to your hypnosis file. Hypnosis will never make you do anything
you don’t want to do so you have to be certain you wish to embrace the
bedwetting lifestyle. You can’t be wishy-washy about it; you have to
know deep down that this is what you truly want for yourself. Only then
will you start to see real success.
16
Practicing wetting your diaper on your back in bed goes hand in hand
with hypnosis training. You need to make it so that it’s natural and easy
for you to pee in bed and that only comes with a lot of practice. It’s
okay to force it out in the beginning stages of training for this but you
should strive for letting it trickle out on its own or with minimal effort.
Reinforce the fact that you’re safe, you won’t leak, and that your diaper
will keep you safe for fastest results.
If you stop wearing diapers and go back to your old undies at any point,
restart Phase 2. You should start noticing a change in your bladders
capacity from wetting so often. Do not proceed to Phase 3 until you
start noticing changes in your bladder. You should feel like you need to
pee sooner than you normally would. Your bladder should feel smaller
due to you not letting it expand.
17
Phase 3 Goals:
Wear diapers for two more months.
Perform a mental health check with yourself and see how you’re
feeling.
Learn how to change your diaper in public outside of work.
Practice waking up at night to relieve your bladder.
While at home, practice wetting every twenty minutes.
Let’s take a step back and really think about how you feel about your
journey so far. Were there any experiences that made you balk and
reconsider your desires for a better life back in diapers? What did you
do to overcome those situations? Self-reflection and maintaining a
positive outlook are both important parts of training.
Switch to a slightly thicker diaper to wear at work and wet freely.
Maintain changing at lunch no matter the state of your diaper. I
recommend BetterDry for this stage. It starts off thin and has tall leak
guards. Repeat the steps from Phase 2 where you gradually learn what it
feels like to wet this new diaper at work. You should be comfortable
wearing diapers to work at this point.
This far into training you should be noticing changes in your mind and
the way you think about diapers. Before, it was a want. Now, it should
be a need. There should be some form of nagging doubt in your mind
that makes you wonder if you can go out or go to bed without a diaper
on. You should be used to wetting frequently to the point where your
bladder has begun to shrink.
To help set a new normal of you wetting at night, you have to wake up
to pee. Doing this also helps your bladder shrink because you aren’t
holding your urine for 8 hours a night. Don’t get out of bed. Relieve
18
yourself on your back and go back to sleep as fast as you can. Don’t
check the diaper. Don’t check your phone. You should pee then happily
drift off to sleep. You must trust that your diaper will keep you safe.
Drink enough water to make this happen naturally. If this doesn’t work,
set an alarm to wake you up to pee. Once you start doing this every
night, your bladder capacity will decrease a lot faster than before and
you will start to notice changes in your level of control during the
daytime.
During the day while you’re not at work, I want you to set a timer to go
off every twenty minutes. When you hear that noise, stop doing
whatever you’re doing and relieve yourself. You need to maintain
drinking enough water to make this happen. Combine that with waking
up to wet at night and you should definitely feel some changes in your
bladder.
If you do not already have one, buy yourself a gallon-sized water bottle
and drink from that every day. This will ensure that you stay
well-hydrated and it will even help in weight loss.
19
Phase 4:
Wear diapers for two more months.
Identify as an incontinent person that needs diapers.
Destroy all of your old undies and throw them in the trash.
Ask yourself, “Am I safe without a diaper?”
At this point, you should have worn diapers 24/7 for four months if you
haven’t stopped wearing at any point. If you have stopped wearing
diapers at any point, that’s perfectly fine too. I wasn’t able to go through
diaper dependency training all in one go myself. I found myself taking
breaks from diapers here and there, though the desire to be diapered
burned like a wildfire out of control every second that I wore my old
undies. I know you feel that same burning passion, too.
By identifying as an incontinent person, you can think like them so you
can be like them. You must focus on seeing things through their eyes.
What would they do in any given situation? Would they ever leave the
house without protection? Of course not. After training to become
diaper dependent for this long, your want for diapers has transformed
into a need for diapers. Isn’t that wonderful? Once you start living with
that mental switch flicked to “I’m incontinent now,” you’ll find it easier
to accept who you truly are.
Now is the time for you to get rid of your old undies. You have no need
for them now because you cannot hold your bladder. If you still doubt
that last sentence, getting rid of your old undies will help cement the
idea that diapers are your underwear now and forevermore. That’s what
helped me get over that final hump in training. Once you finish this
phase, you would have been wearing diapers 24/7 for half a year. That’s
quite the accomplishment! You should be very proud of yourself for
making it this far.
20
Phase 5:
Wear diapers for another six months.
Enjoy feeling the rest of your bladder control slip away.
Cement your dependence with hypnosis a few times a week.
It is at this phase where you should definitely be closer to being diaper
dependent than you are toilet trained. I know how hard it is to overcome
a lifetime of toilet training so if you’ve made it this far, know that I am
very proud of you and what you have done to get here. It is no small
feat.
Please do your best to remain positive throughout this process of letting
your bladder control slip away. Maintaining a positive outlook, even on
the bad days, will allow you to keep training and fulfill your dreams of
being diaper dependent like me and so many others.
There will be some days where you might feel like your training isn’t
complete while other days will make you feel totally helpless and
grateful that you were in a diaper. You can further cement your need for
diapers with weekly hypnosis, practicing wetting in all positions, and by
putting yourself into new, uncomfortable situations.

Training Exercises
The following is a short list of general exercises that I have found very
helpful in training. Follow these instructions to the letter and you’ll find
it quite easy to start losing bladder control.
The Relaxed Wetting Exercise: The relaxed wetting exercise
(formerly known as the potty exercise) is an exercise where you let your
bladder completely relax while you sit on the toilet without a diaper.
Keep your urethra and all your bladder muscles open and relaxed,
allowing a steady dripping of urine. Keep drinking water and juice,
soda, coffee, or tea to produce more urine. As soon as you feel even the
smallest, tiniest little tickle that something might be in your bladder,
push it out immediately. You can push to get the flow started in the
beginning stages of your training, but the goal here is to have you wet
automatically as soon as you feel something in your bladder.
Your bladder is a muscle that will shrink if it's not being used. The more
you pee, the smaller your bladder gets which will make you feel like
you need to pee more often. The more often you pee, the smaller your
bladder gets, and so on and so forth until you have no choice but to
wear a diaper. Otherwise, you would be going to the bathroom so
frequently it would impact your life in a negative way. That’s where
diapers come in.
Changing in Your Car Exercise: At first, I want you to practice
changing your diaper sitting in a chair at home, simulating changing in
your car. While it's not an ideal situation, I've had to change myself in
my car sitting in the drivers seat multiple times because I was on the
verge of leaking. A lot of the time the diaper didn't end up fitting that
22
well, so I want you to practice that now so you don’t have to do it in a
stressful situation without prior practice.
When you are used to changing your diaper in your chair at home, I
want you to move to your car and learn how to do it there. You are
required to have a blanket big enough to cover your bottom half and
conceal your privates from view in your car. Naturally, you are also
required to have diapers stashed in your car. You can keep a bag of
them in your trunk and have some spares in your car door, your glove
compartment, or in the center console.
The Heavy Wetter Exercise: I want you to use at least five to seven
high-capacity diapers in a 24-hour period for 7 days straight. Focus on
wetting every ten minutes and in as small amounts as you can manage.
Always sip on water throughout the day. Don't ever get to the point
where you have to flood your diapers because that means you're holding
it. Check every few minutes to see if your bladder has anything in it and
let your bladder muscles relax.
The Bedwetting Exercise: In this exercise, I want you to solidify your
ability to wet while lying in bed. If you have trouble doing this, it can
be made easier by placing an underpad on your sheets beneath your
diaper. Wearing your diaper like a pair of granny panties is needed
because it has to fully cup and cover your butt cheeks while also
coming up your back a little bit. You must trust that your diaper will not
leak, and if it does, then you'll have that underpad beneath you to catch
any leaks.
Ensuring that you’ll wet a lot is easily attainable by drinking a few big
cups of water before you go to bed. Wearing your thickest diaper or the
diaper that you trust the most while on top of a large reusable underpad
23
will give you the confidence needed to wet yourself in bed. Being able
to see your diaper and hear it crinkle will help you learn that it's okay to
wet while in bed. I know this is hard at first, but you’ll learn to get used
to it fairly quickly if you put in the time and the work. It's okay to push
for this exercise until you can simply let it flow out of you.
The Hypnosis Exercise: You should listen to whichever hypnosis file
you chose with a good pair of noise-canceling headphones and while
you’re in bed. Once the first week is up, I want you to start listening to
that file three to four times a week. I promise you’ll sleep so well that
you’ll want to start using it every night, but I understand if you don’t
want to or can’t listen to it every night.
Wearing in Public Exercise: Go out in public padded. If you still
worry about wearing diapers in public, do not drink anything before you
go out wearing a diaper. You do not have to wet your diaper if you don't
want to. Simply walk around the mall or shopping center for at least one
to two hours. You'll realize that all those little fears in your head that
make you afraid of getting caught are really just baseless and
unfounded. I highly recommend wearing plain white diapers if you're
worried about people seeing them. Get used to being wet in public.
24
Training Tasks
The following are a list of tasks designed to be used for one week at a
time. These can be used in any order to make training more interesting
and break the monotony of your day to day training.
Task 1: If you are new to training or still have fears about going out in
public while diapered, this is the perfect exercise for you. Do not drink
anything before you go out. You do not have to wet your diaper. Simply
walk around the mall or shopping center for at least 1 to 2 hours. You'll
realize that all those little fears in your head that make you afraid of
getting caught are just baseless. If anyone realizes that you’re wearing a
diaper, they will always assume that it's for a medical need. Please take
measures to make sure that people don't see your diapers.
Task 2: When you go to bed this week, I want you to put on your
thickest diaper and drink enough water to make you need to wake up to
pee in the middle of the night. If you don't wake up to pee, drink an
additional glass of water before bed the next night. When you wake up
in the middle of the night, don't let yourself wake up all the way. Simply
roll over onto your back and let your bladder relax. You can push if you
need to. If you aren’t able to wet on your back, you may get out of bed
to pee for now. When you're done peeing, don't check your diaper, just
snuggle up with one of your stuffies or a pillow and go back to sleep.
Practice wetting laying flat on your back whenever you have free time.
Task 3: Listen to your choice of bedwetting hypnosis. You can listen to
any file you want so long as it puts you in trance. Any file below 20
minutes is not allowed. You should listen to it with noise-canceling
headphones and while you're lying in bed. Do not drink lots of water
before doing this hypnosis file.
25
Task 4: Do the relaxed wetting exercise for 30 minutes before bed. Sit
on the toilet without a diaper and simply let it all out. Keep drinking
water and juice to produce a near steady flow of urine. After a week of
this, you'll notice a sense of increased urgency in your bladder,
prompting you to stop what you're doing and pee. Only a little bit will
come out, and this is perfectly normal and desirable for this stage.
Task 5: For this week when you’re at home, I want you to set a timer to
go off every 20 minutes for a few hours. You are required to pee even if
it's a tiny amount whenever you hear the alarm go off. You are required
to drink enough water to make this happen. This will associate wetting
frequently and in small amounts with your diapers. If you are wetting
every 20 minutes with ease, change it to every 15 minutes, then after a
while of doing that, do every 12 minutes, then every 10 minutes.
Task 6: Learn how to change your wet diaper in public. Go out to the
mall, your favorite store, or anywhere that has a bathroom you feel
comfortable changing your diaper in. Make sure you have your diaper
bag with you. Change your diaper in a stall or a single room
family-style bathroom and go about your day as you normally would.
Don’t be scared; you can do it! This is part of your life now.
Task 7: I want you to practice changing your diaper sitting in a chair,
simulating changing in your cars drivers seat. While it's not an ideal
situation, I've had to change myself in my car sitting in the driver's seat
multiple times because I was on the verge of leaking. You are required
to have a blanket big enough to cover your bottom half and conceal
your privates from view in your car.
26
Task 8: Hide most of your panties/boxers somewhere hard to reach
while making diapers easier to get. If you've been training a while,
destroy half of your remaining underwear supply. Panties/boxers do not
belong on your body. If you've been training a long time, destroy your
panties/boxers.
Task 9: Once you’ve been doing the bedwetting hypnosis for a while,
we can test to see how well you’ve been doing. Tire yourself out so
much that you're about to drop. When it's way past your bedtime, stay
up and keep tiring yourself out. During this time, I want you to stay
hydrated and peeing a lot. You can even throw in an alcoholic beverage;
vodka cranberries would be your best bet. Get all cozy in bed and tell
yourself that you’re a bedwetter. This is what really helped me start
bedwetting. This method completely tires you out, making it so that you
won't wake up at night. If you've been peeing all day, your body will
keep doing it and since you're so tired, it will not wake you up and will
be forced to resort to bedwetting.
Task 10: For this week, you are required to wear nothing but your
diaper and a top when you are home. You are not allowed to wear pants,
shorts, skirts, or anything else to cover your diaper while you're at
home. This helps the diaper dependency training process a lot through
subconscious reinforcement; you'll always see your diaper, so your
mind will tell your body that it's okay to go instead of holding it.
27
Proper Diaper Fit
The importance of proper diaper fit cannot be understated. In my
experience, in order to get the highest level of protection and
performance, diapers need to fit like granny panties. Diaper dependency
training depends on function over aesthetics so to ensure your safety
and to keep you as leak-free as possible, wearing a diaper that fits like
granny panties is your best option. Wearing something that provides full
coverage will give you peace of mind which in turn will give you the
confidence to wet freely all the time. Even if a medium size fits you, if
a large diaper covers and cups your butt cheeks better, you should wear
the bigger diaper, at least while at home. This gives you complete
protection when you start wetting lying down flat on your back and for
when you start bedwetting. Wearing the size that will keep you safe is
better than being able to say that you fit into a smaller size.
In order to get the best fit, I change standing up. When I change on my
back in bed, I always get a different fit which really throws off my vibe.
I think I’m just so used to changing standing up that I’ve figured out
how to get the perfect fit every time. Plus it’s also faster than changing
in bed. I won’t have to worry about getting my sheets or underpad wet
when I’m changing standing up, after all. In order to do this properly, I
press my butt up against the wall and line the back of my diaper up with
the top of my butt, making sure that the top of the waistband is where it
needs to be. I pull the diaper up between my legs, folding it long-ways
at the front part, then tape it all nice and snug. This creates a U-shaped
valley in the front of my diaper where the middle of the diaper is
furthest away from my genitals, keeping urine away from the edges of
the diaper. When I say that this is the best way to tape your diaper on, I
mean it. You will always get the best level of performance in this way.
28
Placing a tape down on wrinkled plastic will eventually rip off because
the tape does not have a good grip. You must place that tape on smooth
plastic so that the entire tape gets used, and then you must rub that tape
in. Heat from the friction helps bond the tape to the plastic.
In general, you should fold the diaper long ways in on itself so that once
you tape your diaper on, the front will form a valley that deepens when
you close your legs. You want to get a smooth U or a soft V-shape..
This ensures that your genitals will have enough room. You do not want
the diaper to be as tight as possible because that will decrease blood
flow to your legs, it’ll leave temporary and unsightly red marks on your
skin, and your diaper will not have enough room to expand. When wet,
the diaper expands in both directions, towards your body and away
from your body.
Proper fit means having little to no pressure on the genitals in any
position or situation. Pressure on the genitals equals pain, especially for
men. When there is even the slightest pressure on the testicles, they’ll
become sore and stay sore for the rest of the day, even with pain-killing
medicine. Any diaper will cause you pain if you wear tight-fitting
clothes on top of it, and since you’ll want to do anything to stop the
pain, you may want to stop wearing diapers and relapse on your diaper
dependency training, ruining days or even weeks of progress. If the
front or back of your diaper looks like a W or an M, there’s a high
chance that you’re putting unnecessary pressure on your sensitive
genitals. If you aren’t able to put your diaper on right to form that U
shape, try again with a new one because not only will it hurt you, it also
won’t absorb urine properly.
Wearing an ill-fitting diaper, especially if it’s in that W or M-shape, can
put pressure on your urethral opening and keep you from dribbling all
29
throughout the day. A tight diaper can easily keep you from peeing. If
you don’t fix that right away, your bladder will fill up with urine and
expand, ruining whatever progress that you made in training.
Proper diaper fit isn’t just about ensuring that the tapes are placed well
and that your diaper forms a U-shape, it’s also about making sure the
leak guards are working well. If your diaper does not have any leak
guards built into it, find a different diaper because that diaper will leak a
lot more often than any other diaper with leak guards. Before you tape
that diaper onto yourself, you must make sure that the leak guards stand
up tall. Due to the manufacturer compressing the diaper so much to fit
inside its package, the leak guards may sometimes stick to the inside of
the diaper so you’re going to have to check to see if that’s the case.
Every manufacturer will have a different style of leak guard, so find
some diapers that work best for you and your body’s needs.
When it comes to using boosters one must be cautious. Sometimes even
just one booster can swell up and stand above the leak guards, making
you leak a lot faster than if you were not using a booster at all.
Sometimes boosters aren’t able to absorb your urine fast enough which
makes the chances of a leak soar. Most of the times I’ve used a booster
or a baby diaper as a booster, I’ve leaked far sooner than I would have if
the diaper was just on its own. While it may be fun to have a really
thick diaper, I personally believe that it’s better and safer to know that
your diaper won’t leak.
30
How to Stay Motivated While Training
Staying motivated while diaper training is hard, especially when you
don’t want to put on the next diaper. I won’t beat around the bush and
tell you it’s all sunshine and rainbows because it isn’t. The most
important thing for you to do is to maintain a positive mindset. I’ve
noticed I go out for snacks and other unhealthy foods when I don’t feel
100%. The same could be said about training. If you don’t feel 100%,
you might want to reach for an easier option instead of the next diaper
and push back any progress you’ve made. By being mentally resilient,
you’ll find it easier to adapt to a life back in diapers.
Setting goals is what helped me the most. I would set daily, weekly, and
monthly goals, each with their own reward. If I didn’t achieve what I set
out to do, I would not reward myself. You can do this with candy or
with your favorite snack. Find fun and interesting ways to motivate
yourself to keep making progress. When you reward yourself for
achieving your goals, you will eventually associate happy feelings with
your diapers, further increasing your reliance upon them. If you want to
be happy, you’ll keep wearing your diapers.
In times when you really don’t want to wear a diaper, you have to push
through it and put it on. Do you want to stop wearing and ruin all the
progress you’ve made? Of course not. The best part is that you don’t
even have to use the diaper if you don’t want to; all you have to do is
put it on and wear it like you would wear your old undies. If you want
to use the toilet like you used to, that is okay, but since you’re wearing
that lovely diaper, why not just use it for its intended purpose?
31
Bedwetting and Hypnosis
Bedwetting is a genuinely pleasurable experience. Not only is it
exciting when it happens, it is a fantastic way to start your day. The best
way to start bedwetting is through positive reinforcement where you
reward yourself. Bedwetting and hypnosis combined can be a great tool
in achieving your goals in diaper dependency training. Hypnosis really
helped me become a bedwetter and once that happened, I saw a sharp
decline in my daytime level of control. Holding your pee at night for
eight hours or more impedes your training because you spend so much
time letting your bladder expand. Waking up at night to pee at least
once or twice every single night will help you lose daytime control.
My favorite bedwetting hypnosis file has always been the one from
baby-pants.com. Their website is ancient and needs to be upgraded, but
their Bedwetting file was very effective on me. I recommend
researching what hypnosis really is before you listen to any file. Once
you find a good one, find a good time and place to listen to it. I’ve
always listened to them with Bose noise-canceling headphones in the
afternoon after lunch when I get a little sleepy. I would get as snug as a
bug under the sheets, make the room as dark as possible, and then did
some breathing exercises to relax. Once I felt relaxed, I put my
headphones on and played the file, listening to and obeying each
instruction. Using a Bluetooth speaker, your phone’s speaker, or any
other kind of speaker will make the hypnosis ineffective because it lets
in outside sounds which can distract you and break you out of trance.
In the hour or two before you listen to the file, don’t drink as much so
you won’t need to pee in the middle of the session. Put your phone on
do not disturb. Keep your arms at your sides and have your head gently
propped up by a single pillow. Do whatever you need to do to make
32
yourself the most comfortable. The hypnosis file will guide you along
the process of relaxing until you’re ready. Once you’re fully relaxed,
they’ll count down and gently bring you into trance. I found the most
success with the file when I felt my heart rate speed up at the end.
Once you settle into your new routine with hypnosis, you should start
working on wetting on your back. You must first become comfortable
wetting like this while awake so that you can do this in the middle of
the night when you wake up to pee. Large washable bedwetting
underpads are necessary for sleeping comfortably in diapers. Set them
up on top of your fitted sheet and wear the diaper that you trust the
most. Sprinkle a little bit of baby powder on your pillows, sheets, and
comforter and rub it in. That scent should already be associated with
diapers and will make your subconscious mind remember that you are
wearing a diaper. Our parents have ingrained in us that bedwetting was
a bad thing so you must learn that bedwetting is a perfectly natural and
normal thing to do now. You want this to happen.
Learning how to wet your diaper lying down takes elements from
wetting while sitting. After drinking a glass or two of water followed by
a cup of coffee or soda, start off by sitting in your bed, get comfortable
in bed by propping yourself up by some pillows. Grab your water bottle
and drink a decent amount of water. Your bladder will fight to hold onto
its contents since we’ve spent so long knowing that it’s not okay to pee
when we’re in bed, so go ahead and bear down on your bladder and
force yourself to pee.
Show yourself that it’s okay to wet while you’re on your bed by
checking your diaper often. Show yourself that you’re not leaking,
especially since you’re wearing a trusted diaper with a thick and wide
underpad beneath you. You’re safe because you have two layers of
33
protection. When you’re first learning to see how much your diaper can
take while lying down, it is okay to let your diaper leak. You need to
know how it feels before you leak and how it feels to leak while wetting
lying down. This is important because by knowing when your diaper is
about to leak, you’ll be able to change and avoid a disaster.
After a few days of practicing this, you’ll soon find that you don’t have
to push as hard. When you can wet without having to push, wait until
you’ve filled up your diaper, then change yourself. When you’re in a
fresh, comfy diaper, drink more water and slide your butt a little further
down the bed until your back is propped up at a lesser angle. Keep
wetting in this position. When you feel like you can wet in this position
with no issue, slide all the way down until you’re lying flat on your
back. It might be hard to wet yourself like this, but with enough water,
you’ll be able to make yourself pee.
When you start waking up in the middle of the night, roll onto your
back and empty your bladder. Do not let yourself wake up any more
than halfway because you need to fall back asleep as quickly as
possible. Go back to sleep knowing that you can trust your diaper to not
leak. These first several nights will be restless because you’ll be waking
up often to pee. Once you’ve been waking up, wetting, then falling
asleep again, you’ll eventually wake up in the middle of wetting
yourself. This is a huge milestone. If you continue down this path, you
will soon wake up soggy without any recollection of waking up to pee.
The way I experienced bedwetting for the first time was not from
alcohol, but from going to bed extremely exhausted. You know those
days where you’re just super busy all day long and that by the time you
get home, you want nothing more than to go to bed? You must fight
past those feelings of sleepiness and stay up as long as you can while
34
drinking lots of water. If you’ve been training hard during the day,
you’ll wake up the next morning in a soggy diaper feeling quite
refreshed.
As soon as you wake up, check your diaper so you can make sure that
you didn’t leak that night. You’ve been wearing the same diaper up to
ten hours and you need to shower and change if you want to maintain
your skin’s health. You might want to stay in your nighttime diaper, but
you must remember that diaper training isn’t about trying to get the
most usage out of each diaper, it’s to make you dependent upon them.
Compromising your skin’s health to save a couple dollars at most is
irresponsible.
Buying a body pillow to snuggle with at night helped me a ton and it
can do the same for you. Buy a hypoallergenic body pillow and a
pillowcase for it. Buy something of good quality so it lasts a while.
Personally, I bought a Siluvia body pillow with a satin pillowcase. I
really, really love how it feels. The satin pillowcase is cool to the touch
and doesn’t make me feel hot. It somehow stays at the perfect
temperature all night long.
The reason why I recommend snuggling with a body pillow is because
it takes pressure off of the diaper and makes sleeping on your side so
much easier. Sometimes it doesn’t even feel like I’m wearing a diaper
when I wrap my legs around the body pillow.
35
Messing
Messing your diaper is not required for you to become dependent on
diapers. However, you might find it useful in some situations so I think
it’s prudent to include this section. I successfully lost my bladder
control while still using the toilet for pooping. I’ve been messing my
diaper exclusively for over 2.5 years at the time of me publishing this
version so I’ve definitely learned a thing or two along the way.
I want to be clear that there is currently no way for you to lose complete
control over your bowels to become medically bowel incontinent
through this method of training. There has to be some sort of medical
incident for you to end up with a form of bowel incontinence. All of
your nerves down there work perfectly fine at the moment so even after
months of training, you will still be able to feel yourself pooping. I will
show you how to become used to messing like I have done and how to
form new routines that will make it harder to hold it. Becoming diaper
dependent can lessen your control over your bowels. You’ll also get
used to doing the deed in your diaper so often that you won’t think
twice when you feel the urge and just let it happen naturally.
After two years of messing, I no longer have any second thoughts when
I feel the need to poop. I know my diaper keeps me safe and I know that
I’m going to change eventually. What’s a few more baby wipes? After
settling into the new routine of learning to love messing, doing the act
has become normal, natural, and even a little fun sometimes. There’s
been more than a few instances over the years when I’ve been hit with
the sudden urge to poop when I’m out and about. I had mere minutes to
find a restroom, and since I’ve always been shy using public restrooms,
I had to rush home to poop.
36
Learning how to mess is quite similar to how diaper dependency
training works with your bladder. By establishing new routines and
sticking to it, messing will become less of a conscious act and more of
something that your body does on its own. By taking baby steps and by
using positive reinforcement, you'll be able to take someone who
doesn't want to mess at all to someone who'll want to mess their diapers
quite often. That includes you.
Getting used to messing will be hard at first but I figured out that the
best way is to start small. Rash cream or barrier cream, like Desitin, is a
great first step because it’ll introduce a new sensation down there while
you’re diapered. I recommend using a disposable glove or bag to use to
wipe the rash cream in between your butt cheeks before you diaper up. I
like using the bag because it’s really hard to wash off my hands; it is
pretty thick and goopy so a little bit goes a long way.
Once you’re used to having barrier cream down there, put some warm
oatmeal or bananas in the seat of your diaper. That way you won’t have
to worry about the smell or bacteria of actual poop. Spend a little bit of
time getting used to those new sensations down there and see if messing
is something you’d be willing to try for real. If it isn’t, that’s perfectly
fine. If it is, then I want you to walk around your home with the fake
poop in the seat of your diaper. Sit in it. Try your best to enjoy it.
When you feel like you’re ready to move on, you need to start paying
attention to what you eat if you want your messes to be more uniform.
Eating better would be another great way to improve your life. To
induce more regular movements for you to practice with, start
introducing more food with fiber into your diet. Foods that are high in
fiber include beans, popcorn, apples, and a lot of other healthy
alternatives. The more you have to poop, the more you’ll be able to
37
practice that feeling of never clenching and letting your body push it out
on its own.
If you’re still having issues pooping in your diaper, I recommend that
you diaper up and go sit on the toilet. You remember how easy it is to
poop while sitting on the toilet? I want you to replicate those same
feelings as you try to mess your diaper there. Your body might keep you
from pooping because you’ve spent decades not pooping in your
underwear but all you have to do now is push. You can use the cheapest
diapers on the market for this training exercise if you wish to keep costs
low. Once you are finally able to mess your diaper, I recommend
changing promptly. The bacteria from your poop can travel up the
diaper into your bladder if you don’t change after a little bit. A bladder
infection is truly something you never want to experience.
Every time that you mess your diaper, I highly recommend that you
reward yourself with a treat. This positively reinforces that messing
your diaper is a good thing. You need to learn that a treat equals
happiness, and in turn, that messing equals happiness. The best part is
that after a while, once you feel that familiar urge in your tummy that
you need to poop, you’ll have conditioned yourself to think that you’ll
feel happy after pooping. The more you train, the easier it’ll be to mess
your diapers. You can use your vibrator to reward yourself.
Never use suppositories or laxatives to make you poop. Using
medication for training is never smart. They may be fun in the short
term, but you can become dependent on them if you use them enough.
Can you imagine needing to push something inside your butt just to
make you poop every single day? You wouldn’t be able to poop without
doing that. This can lead to you getting backed up, leading to more
medical complications. I would avoid using these at all costs.
38
When it comes to the best positions for messing, I’ve found that it’s
easiest when I’m squatting. There’s just something about that position
that feels right, and when I get into that position, my body tends to take
over on its own and does its business with little effort from me. All I
have to do is hold that position and wait. Once the deed is done, I tend
to change within a few minutes. Changing quickly drastically lowers
the chance of getting a bladder infection and it’ll also keep your skin
healthy. I don’t want to sugarcoat things and make it seem like messing
your diaper is all sunshine and rainbows because it’s not.
Get on a schedule for messing so that it’s predictable. You don’t want to
be hit with the sudden urge to poop when you’re at work or out in
public, so I recommend getting the deed down before you go out. I’ve
gotten into a routine where I mess after breakfast. Ever since I started
messing full-time, I had to switch from eating a Pop-Tart to something
healthier, like some fruit, scrambled eggs, or frosted mini wheats. I
usually feel the urge to go a little after that, and once I feel that familiar
sensation in my tummy, I squat down and let nature take its course. I
wipe myself off with baby wipes, shower, then get ready for my day.
You’re going to have to poop sometime, so why not just use your diaper
for everything?
When it comes to finding the best way to clean yourself up after
messing, I recommend that you go and find single bags of as many baby
wipes as you can. Test each bag of wipes out, one by one, until you find
the one that you like the most. For me, I prefer using Kirkland’s
Fragrance Free baby wipes. They’re hypoallergenic and don’t have any
scents which makes them great for if you have to stealthily clean
yourself up in public. I use these for every diaper change, regardless of
39
if I’m messy or not. If you have time, taking a shower would help you
clean yourself up if you really made a mess of things inside your diaper.
If you ever think that you’ll find yourself in a situation where you need
to use your diaper for pooping in public, your best bet would be to use
chlorophyll pills. It’ll take a little bit of time taking them daily for the
effect to kick in, but they work. They reduce the smell of poop by a
significant factor and they might help you when it comes to changing in
public if you’re ever put in that kind of situation. I really recommend
that you try to make it to your car or somewhere private to do the deed
because it would make it significantly easier to change a messy diaper. I
know sometimes you might not be able to make it home or somewhere
safe to mess, so as long as you’re in your car, just do what your body
needs to do and let it happen. Personally, I tried using these and
stopped. They are not necessary for you to mess your diapers safely.
If you are forced into the unenviable situation of having a legitimate
messing accident in public, you better drum up your courage because if
you don’t have your car available somewhere close, you’re going to
have to change your messy diaper in public. There’s no easy way to do
this, however, speed is key. If you don’t have your car nearby or if you
don’t own a car, having a backpack with changing supplies should be
carried at all times.

Relationships and Diapers
When it comes to living a life back in diapers, you must make certain
sacrifices to achieve your goals. You must ask yourself if being
dependent on diapers is worth being single because dating in diapers is
hard. If your current partner is one hundred percent against you wearing
diapers, you will have to eventually face a hard question: are diapers
worth more than my relationship?
It's understandable to feel nervous about talking to your partner, friends,
or family about your need for diapers. Acknowledge and accept your
feelings as this will allow you to address them more effectively. Come
up with ideas of what to say if someone asks you about your new choice
of undies so that you aren’t blindsided. You can start by sharing your
feelings with a trusted friend who you believe will be supportive and
understanding as a test run before you talk to your partner. When you’re
explaining it to your friend, focus on the benefits and how they make
your life better. Explain to them that wearing diapers is necessary to
ensure your comfort and well-being, both mentally and physically.
If you don’t have anyone in real life to confide in, you should then find
groups or online communities where you can interact with others who
have experienced similar situations. Sharing your concerns and hearing
about their experiences can provide valuable advice, coping strategies,
and emotional support. Surrounding yourself with understanding and
supportive individuals who respect your situation will help cement your
need for wearing diapers and normalize your desires. Focus on your
well-being and self-acceptance and know that you are not alone in
dealing with these challenges. There are so many others out there that
are just like you going through this exact same thing.
41
Once you’ve done your research and have figured out the best way to
approach your desire for diapers with your partner, remember that
honesty is key. Being upfront and open with your partner about your
desires will help put them at ease. When you start explaining your
needs to them, do not act nervous because it’ll put them on edge. Don’t
just talk about why diapers mean so much to you, show your partner
why you like diapers. Show them everything about it that you like and
put it in a way that they can understand. If you don’t explain things
thoroughly and make them understand, they’ll do their own research
and could find stuff that puts diapers in a bad light. You need to talk it
through with them and answer every single question that they have.
Otherwise, they may make false assumptions and act on those
assumptions as if they were the truth.
Even after all that, if your partner doesn’t accept your diapers, it might
just be better for the two of you to move on. Avoid any kind of ABDL
dating websites because they typically end up being scams. Your best
bet would be to make friends in the ABDL community, either online or
through local meetups, and go from there. Forming genuine connections
over common interests not including diapers is a great way to move
forward into the life that you’ve always wanted.
If you’re looking for a partner and think they have to be in the ABDL
community for you two to really hit it off, think again. I think you
would have a much easier time finding a regular person who isn’t in this
community and then convert them. By sharing such an intimate part of
yourself, you’re not only showing the depth of your trust in them, you
might find that they are open to sharing your desires. They may even
share a secret kink of theirs with you, allowing the two of you to really
explore each other in ways you’ve never dreamed of.
42
The Mental Aspect
Only with the right mindset will you be successful in diaper training.
Have you ever had those days where you just don’t have the motivation
to stay diapered? Everyone has. What sets you aside from everyone else
is how you act when given the choice between putting on the next
diaper or not. I’ve found that a lot of people like to give themselves a
choice when they first start diaper dependency training by keeping their
old underwear close by. You should consider throwing away all of your
panties or boxers so that you won’t have a backup option. If you had no
other choice, you’d have to put on another diaper, allowing you to
continue training.
You must remain positive and motivated at all times. Don’t let yourself
grow weary with the day to day monotony. Just like maintaining a
proper diet and exercising, taking it day by day is what’s best. Keep
your goal in mind and keep pushing forward to make your dreams a
reality. Don’t worry about the daunting journey ahead of you, just do it
day by day. Most people never untrain in just one go. I didn’t. I’ve
found that most people train for a little bit, lose some control, then
temporarily go back to their undies, slipping into a cycle where they
lose more and more control as time goes on.
Diaper dependency has a large mental component that is bigger than
you might realize. If you cannot accept the fact that you’ll be wearing
diapers from now on, then your subconscious will keep you from
becoming dependent on diapers no matter how hard you try to force it.
From now on, you must identify as incontinent. The best way to start
doing this is to put yourself in their shoes and think how an incontinent
person would act. It’s important to live with this mindset every single
43
day until it becomes your new normal. You can no longer think like
someone who has control over their bladder anymore. You’ll need to
ease yourself into this new mindset and think about things from a
practical perspective, not one born from fetish or fantasy.
For example, wearing a soggy diaper that needs to be changed will
impede your training and might push you back towards being toilet
trained. If you worry that your diaper might leak, change at the first
chance you get because your body will subconsciously start holding
your pee. Changing well before your diaper leaks will always keep your
bladder open and will give you the peace of mind that you will not leak,
allowing you to keep making progress.
44
The Physical Aspect
While the mental aspect plays a big role in diaper training, one must
also take the physical aspect into consideration as well because diaper
training will not work without the other. What you need to understand is
that while you’re reconditioning your mind to be that of an incontinent
person, you must also recondition your body to perform like an
incontinent person.
The way to become diaper dependent is to lower your bladder capacity
until you can’t hold anything. The only way you can do that is to pee
when you feel even the smallest bit of urine in your bladder, making it
so that your bladder never gets to expand. Since your bladder is a
muscle, it’ll shrink in size just like how your muscles would shrink if
you stopped going to the gym. By letting it shrink, you’ll feel like it’s
full sooner than before, making you pee more often, which in turn
lowers your bladder capacity, which in turn makes you feel like you
need to pee more often.
In the beginning stages of training, you might face this question: should
you push so you can pee and empty your bladder or wait to try to pee
naturally with a fuller bladder so you don’t have to exercise your
bladders muscles? My answer is that you should push. Focus on
lowering your bladders capacity first. You can only do this by peeing
as often as you can. In time, it’ll become easier to wet without having to
push, but you can only really do that with a smaller bladder.
Flooding your diaper is bad because they aren’t designed to handle a
large amount of urine all at once. If you flood your diaper, this means
that you let your bladder fill up, stretching it out and ruining any
progress you made. I know how easy it is to get distracted and not
45
realize that it’s getting full, but that’ll happen less and less the longer
you let your bladder shrink, especially once you settle into the action of
peeing a few times an hour. At first, this is something that must be done
with conscious effort until your body takes over naturally.
By practicing wetting freely on the toilet in what I call the relaxed
wetting exercise, you will learn what it feels like to remain relaxed and
open. You need to learn that it’s okay to let your bladder remain open
because you’re protected from leaking on the toilet. In time, you will be
able to transfer those same habits to when you’re wearing a diaper.
Occupy yourself with your phone and keep drinking water as you sit on
the toilet, letting all of your urine trickle out. When you pee, drink a
little bit more than you let out so you can ensure that you’ll be
dribbling. If you cannot automatically let your bladder relax while
you’re sitting on the toilet, then you must first practice holding your
bladder open once you’re done peeing. The point of this exercise is to
make you aware of that open feeling and to condition your body to pee
as soon as you feel something inside of your bladder.
When you do this exercise, you must keep your bladder relaxed at all
times. If you feel the need to pee, you must let it out immediately. If
you need to pee, don’t force it out, just let it dribble out. You cannot let
your bladder fill up and expand because that’s what we’re trying to
avoid. If you can’t let it simply trickle out of you, you can push to get it
started. You need to learn this feeling of letting your bladder become
fully relaxed and open in order for diaper dependency training to work.
Drinking a lot of water will lower the sodium levels in your body, so
ensure that you drink a Gatorade or something similar sometime in your
day. When you’re used to doing the relaxed wetting where you’re
46
wetting freely on the toilet, I want you to eventually replicate those
same feelings when you’re sitting somewhere in your diaper.
Peeing in small amounts a few times an hour does two things: it
decreases your bladder capacity by making your bladder get used to not
getting stretched out and it trains you to wet as soon as you feel even
the smallest signal that you have to pee. When you’re done wetting, try
your best to not clamp down like you would normally do to stop the
flow and prevent any leaks. This will help condition you to keep your
bladder relaxed and open. It may feel a bit weird at first, but you’ll get
used to it and it’ll soon become second nature because your body will
learn that it’s okay to wet whenever it needs to.
The best way to wet a lot is to drink a lot of water followed by
something with caffeine in it, then another glass of water. Caffeine
stimulates your bladder and will make you need to pee. Your training
will be unsuccessful if you drink something else more than water, like
soda or energy drinks. Water is the best liquid to make yourself pee
because soda and energy drinks will dehydrate you. It’s okay to still
drink those things in small amounts.
Your urine should always be clear. Yellow urine means you’re
dehydrated which means that you are not drinking enough water. Clear
urine doesn’t smell bad like yellow urine does. While you should never
chug liquids while doing this program, you still need to drink a decent
amount of water each hour. In order for you to retrain your bladder, you
have to drink enough water to satiate your body’s needs and then you
have to drink more in order to make you pee.
Peeing sitting down while diapered is simple once you’re used to
wearing your diaper. To pee sitting down, you must completely trust
47
your diaper and know deep down that it will not leak. When you’re
sitting down, some of the padding will be squished under your butt,
reducing the diapers ability to absorb your pee. This is where an
absorbent underpad will come in handy. As soon as you feel that
familiar tickle in your bladder that something is there, give it a little
push and let your body take care of its needs. In time, you won’t even
need to think to let yourself pee. Your body will just take care of it on
its own so that you’ll only feel your diaper grow warm and thicker, and
even then, since you’d be peeing in such small amounts, you might not
even realize that you’ve been peeing until your diaper becomes pretty
warm and soggy. Sensations can easily start to blur down there, making
you wonder if you peed a little bit. Ever feel phantom vibrations when
your phone is in your pocket? It’s the same thing here. The best part is
that even if you do wet a little, it will be very hard to tell in a diaper that
has already been wet. Embrace the uncertainty and lean into it. If you
have no idea if you just wet or not, would you really want to stop
wearing diapers, especially given the fact that it may happen again
when you’re not paying attention? Use that uncertainty to help cement
your need for protection.
Never clench down when you’re peeing as doing so strengthens your
sphincters muscles. You must let it dribble out on its own unimpeded.
If you clench down to try and stop the flow or slow the flow and it hurts
a little bit, that’s a sign that you haven’t used your bladders sphincter in
a while and that it’s growing weaker. A weak sphincter makes it easier
to pee in any position. You should train yourself to keep your sphincter
open as much as you can until it learns its new default position as open
and relaxed. The only way for this to happen is to wear a diaper that
you trust.
48
Training is something that should only be done while at home. You
shouldn’t train while at work because this can put your job and
livelihood in jeopardy. You’ll have more than enough time while at
home and while you’re not working to train. All you need to do is wear
the diaper and use it normally.
For men, erections are normal if you’re committing to diaper
dependency from the fetish side of things. However, you do not want to
remain erect or get erect when you’re putting on a fresh diaper. The
only way for you to lose a lot of that sexual attraction for diapers is for
you to cum in your diapers and to keep wearing them without taking a
break. I know that your first instinct will be to take off the diaper and
throw it away, but you cannot do that if you wish to rewire your brain.
Change it when necessary but do not think about going back to your old
underwear. This reinforces the fact that diapers are normal now. By
doing this over and over and by mentally reminding yourself to not get
aroused when you put on a fresh diaper, you will no longer get an
erection when you put on a fresh diaper in time.
When it comes to diaper training yourself, you might think that you can
take certain drugs to accelerate the process. Do not take any kind of
drugs or medicine to help train. This includes but is not limited to water
pills, laxatives, and suppositories. In order to save you a quick Google
search, a water pill is a pill that will make you need to pee. While it
sounds like you’d want to use those a lot, if you aren’t drinking enough
water, they can easily dehydrate you, causing headaches, nausea, and
other dehydration-related symptoms. If you’re already drinking enough
water, then you shouldn’t need a pill to help you pee. A simple soda or
a cup of coffee will have the same effect without all the dangerous side
effects of a water pill.
49
Enemas, laxatives, and glycerin suppositories are bad for training. All
three of these are used to induce a bowel movement. With an enema,
you pump water inside your colon. Do it often enough and you’ll
encounter a condition known as water intoxication. Not only can this
lead to damaging your large intestine, it can also interfere with your
body’s ability to absorb nutrients and liquids. Laxatives, as I’m sure
you’re aware of, are taken orally and will make you need to poop. A
suppository, in a liquid or in a gel form, is inserted into your rectum and
makes you need to poop. While this doesn’t sound so bad, the
dangerous side of this comes in the form of dehydration and addiction.
Regular usage of laxatives or suppositories will condition your body to
only poop when you use a laxative or a suppository. Do not, under any
circumstance, take these on any kind of regular basis.
Going off on the similar theme of trying to ‘cheat’ diaper dependency
training, do not attempt to use catheters without the supervision of a
medical professional. While a catheter can provide an experience
similar to that of a bladder incontinent individual, it can be quite
painful. It also introduces an unencumbered path for bacteria to get
inside your bladder. The inside of your diaper is not a sterile
environment.
50
Personal Hygiene
Personal hygiene plays a big role in diaper training. A diaper is
essentially a plastic bag wrapped around your groin that holds in urine,
sweat, and other liquids and solids. With enough friction, heat, and
time, you’ll find that it’s easy to get a diaper rash, a skin infection, or
some sort of other medical condition. You can avoid all of this by
practicing good hygiene. This includes showering in the morning after
you wake up, showering at night before you put on your bedtime diaper,
trimming all the hair in your diaper area, and more.
You’ll need to get rid of all the hair on your groin, butt, in between your
butt cheeks, and upper legs. A decent electric razor will make this
process simple. This ensures that the odors won’t stick around and it
makes things a lot easier to clean in between changes. I do not
recommend using any sort of hair removal creams at all, especially
around your genitals. Instead of those, I recommend taking some time
to intimately care for yourself. Make a new routine where you include
other self-care activities, like taking care of your skin with new
moisturizers, facial masks, and other related activities.
When you walk around in your diaper, your sensitive inner legs rub
against it, creating friction and heat. A light spritzing of baby powder
on the inside of the diaper, followed by rubbing a little bit of baby
powder on the inside of your legs where the diaper touches will help
keep your skin dry and free of excess liquids. You can avoid diaper rash
by keeping the area clean and dry as much as you can. Wearing high
quality diapers will help with this.
Gently clean your diaper area with baby or adult wipes, then pat the
skin dry rather than rubbing. If you’re still new to wearing diapers 24/7,
51
you can try using barrier creams or ointments. Apply a thin layer of a
protective barrier cream or ointment down in your diaper area, such as
zinc oxide or petroleum jelly, to create a barrier between the skin and
moisture. A little goes a long way. I only recommend doing this if you
get rashes easily. Over time, your skin should get used to this and adapt.
Personally, while I have sensitive skin, my body got used to the new
sensation of plastic rubbing against my legs fairly quickly.
Ensure that the diaper fits properly and is not too tight or too loose. Opt
for breathable and absorbent clothes to minimize moisture build-up like
cotton, especially during the summer months. Wash your hands before
and after changing the adult diaper to reduce the risk of infection or
irritation. If you do develop a diaper rash, gently cleanse the affected
area with mild soap and water. Avoid using harsh soaps or wipes that
contain alcohol or fragrance as they can worsen the rash. Stop wearing
diapers temporarily and allow the skin to breathe and heal. Whenever
possible, expose the affected area to air to promote healing. Use a
protective barrier cream or ointment, such as zinc oxide or a product
specifically formulated for diaper rash, to soothe the skin and create a
protective barrier against further irritation.
I recommend that you wipe your diaper area off with some baby wipes
with every single diaper change. Not only will this keep you smelling
fresh, it will also keep your skin clean. While I always recommend that
you use high quality diapers for training, you must also take into
consideration the quality of the diapers outer plastic cover. Some
plastics are thicker and rougher while others are thinner and softer.
You’ll need to find a diaper that you like and see what diaper will work
best for you and your body shape. You’ll need to focus on fit and
function rather than aesthetics once you start losing control because you
52
need to find the perfect diaper that’ll keep you safe and protected no
matter what.
Bladder infections are something you need to watch out for. While they
don’t happen often, you can drink cranberry juice to help keep them
from happening. You want to find 100% pure cranberry juice because
that’ll be your best bet in keeping your bladder health high. Two of the
most common ways to get a bladder infection is from not drinking
enough water and from staying in a messy diaper. Messing plays no part
in becoming diaper dependent. Staying in a messy diaper is not only
bad for your skin health but is also bad for your bladders health.
Messing yourself introduces bacteria to the inside of your diaper; same
goes for if you don’t wipe well enough after pooping. Women get
bladder infections a lot more often than men because of their short
urethra. Men have a longer urethra due to having a penis so the bacteria
has a longer path before it reaches the bladder. Aside from medical
testing, the easiest way to tell if you have a bladder infection is if it
burns when you pee. If you get a bladder infection, it is absolutely
necessary to go to a doctor and get prescribed medicine to get rid of it.
You will not be able to get rid of the infection on your own. I speak
from first-hand experience.
53
Dealing With Leaks
Leaking is everybody’s worst nightmare. Leaks suck and diapers can
fail in a lot of different ways. I’ve seen diapers leak from pinholes in the
plastic to boosters standing too tall above leakguards. I’ve experienced
leaks in all positions and in many situations. Leaks will form negative
associations within your mind which will hurt your training progress.
You shouldn’t ever let your diaper get so wet and soggy that your
bladder keeps you from peeing.
I’ve always changed when I have about 20% capacity left so that I
always have a small emergency backup of padding just in case. Waiting
till you get 100% of the diapers usefulness is not only reckless, you’re
doing yourself a disservice by staying in a diaper that may start to
negatively impact your skin’s health. When you reach 100% capacity,
or start to near that level, the diaper may struggle to absorb your urine,
leading to pooling and urine in direct contact with the skin. Ever untape
your diaper and have your skin feel damp down there? That’s what we
want to avoid. If you do encounter such a situation, you must wipe
yourself down with baby wipes and wait for your skin to dry.
I recommend that you test your diapers to their limit and intentionally
make them leak while at home so that you can learn to recognize the
signs of a leak about to happen. Some diapers are better than others
when it comes to retaining urine when compressed. Once you learn
what the diaper feels like when it leaks, remember how it felt right
before it leaked. Using this method for each new diaper you fit into
your diaper stash will allow you to change when needed and stay safe
from leaking.
54
Leaks at home are easy to handle. Just use an absorbent pad wherever
you sit. I recommend the 44x52 inch Kanech underpad from Amazon
for your bed. You can use washable underpads for your chairs, couches,
and other seats around the house. Even though I know each of my
diapers well from using quite a lot of them over the years, I still sit on
underpads just in case. It’s far easier to wash an underpad than a couch
cushion or a mattress.
Leaks in public are the worst. They put you in a difficult situation and
make you reactive instead of proactive. You need to carry certain
supplies in your diaper bag to help handle these kinds of leaks. This
includes an entire change of clothes, fresh diapers, powder, scented
trash bags, and baby wipes. If you do end up leaking in public, I
recommend finding the fastest route to change your diaper. Wearing
dark bottoms will help hide a leak better than light-colored clothes. If
anyone asks about your wet clothes, you can easily laugh and say that
you sat down on a wet chair. Confidence is key. Once you’re able to
find a place to change your diaper, waste no time in disposing of it,
changing your clothes, and getting into a fresh diaper. If you’re unable
to find a restroom to change, try changing in your car. It can be done
with a big towel to keep your privates private.
Once you get back home, I want you to think about how things went
wrong and how you can avoid such situations in the future. Remember
the events that led you to this point. Were there any opportunities at all
that would have allowed you to change your diaper earlier? Could you
have pushed something off to take a five minute break to change in the
bathroom? If you didn’t have time to change, you need to learn how to
make time. Prioritize yourself over others if it means avoiding
uncomfortable situations like this.
55
Your Diaper Stash and Necessary Supplies
I recommend that you use four types of diapers. While you can untrain
with a single type of high-capacity diaper, you will have higher costs in
the end due to different circumstances. I classify diapers into four types:
ultra-light, light, regular/everyday, and maximum/nighttime.
Ultra-light diapers are diapers or adult pull-ups that can only hold one
full wetting at most. Pull-ups for kids should not be used in diaper
dependency training. Adult pull-ups work well for when you step out of
the shower and want to stay dry as you towel off or for when you just
need protection for a little while.
Light diapers are for when you need a diaper to be as discreet as
possible. These hold at most two to three wettings and will need to be
changed frequently. A good use case for these kinds of diapers would be
for when you’re doing something with your parents or some of your
friends, like going out to eat or going to see a movie. These diapers
range between 2k mls and 4k mls. You can’t cheap out on these diapers
because you’ll need to have the odor control and leak guards that cheap
diapers won’t have.
Regular/everyday diapers are for when you need a diaper to last you a
decent amount of time in public and at home. These diapers really excel
when you can afford to have a small amount of poof showing through
your clothes while in public so you can have extra absorbency.
Personally, I prefer using BetterDry because they offer more
absorbency than the Abena L4, they have taller leak guards, and since
I’ve worn them a lot more than the L4, I have come to love and trust
this diaper in keeping me safe.
56
Maximum/nighttime diapers are for when you need to have absolute
protection above all else. These thick diapers are excellent to use while
you’re training at home and you don’t want to change every few hours
or for when you go out to the bar. If you go out, would you rather have
to change in a packed bars bathroom or would you rather wear a
thicker diaper that may be a little obvious? These diapers are what you
should use for bedwetting and should have at least 6k mls or more.
Depending on how much you wet at night, you may increase the
absorbency of your night diaper until you find one that keeps you safe
100% of the time. By finding a diaper that allows you to sleep through
the night without having to get up and change, you will find that
training happens faster compared to if you get out of bed to change
Other necessary supplies include scented trash bags, baby wipes, baby
powder, and a separate trash can for used baby wipes and diapers. You
should also include diaper rash cream just in case, because it’s better to
have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. Furthermore, you
should have washable underpads for your furniture and bed. Being able
to sleep on these underpads at night gave me the confidence I needed to
finish losing my bladder control at night. You should buy a waterproof
mattress protector next, giving yourself more peace of mind for wetting
yourself at night. The trick is to feel safe at night so your body can take
care of its needs without having to wake you up.
Diapers can cost a lot of money but if you play your cards right and
keep an eye out for sales, you can easily grow your diaper stash without
paying a lot of money. You might think about buying cheaper diapers to
keep costs low. I made this mistake a few times before I made the
switch to using better diapers. Using better diapers cuts down on the
cost of diaper training because they last longer and hold more.
57
Higher quality diapers offer better odor protection, fit better, and are a
pleasure to wear. In training, it’s good to switch things up and use
different diapers to keep things fresh and interesting because sometimes
it can get a bit boring wearing the same diaper every day. To keep
things fresh, try some diapers with exciting prints on them so that you’ll
always look forward to changing into a fresh diaper. Cheap diapers hold
a wetting or two at most before leaking, and most of the time they cost
about a dollar per diaper, sometimes even more before you factor in
shipping costs. You can easily get better diapers with 4x to 8x
absorbency for a little extra money.
When in training, it is important to have a large diaper stash. You need
to take a week and use as many diapers as you can, then multiply that
number by four to account for four weeks in a month. This number will
be a high estimate for the number of diapers that you need to have on
hand because if you’re worried about running out of diapers, you might
try to ration them out. If you let your stash grow so small where you
start to worry, you’re doing yourself a disservice and should be more
responsible. There are companies out there that’ll give you discounts up
to 10% off per order with recurring orders, so if you follow this guide
and end up dependent on diapers, it is in your best interests to find a
company that will give you the best deal on diapers.
One way to save money is to use an HSA to buy diapers. A health
savings account is an account where pretax money is taken from every
paycheck to only be used to buy medical items and pay for medical
bills. Certain websites will take HSA payments for diapers, like
NorthShoreCare.com. Instead of using taxed money to buy diapers, you
can use pre-taxed money to save big time by using an HSA. Please
research what it is and what it can do on your own before you get one.
58
Diapers and Your Wardrobe
If you want to be successful in becoming diaper dependent, you must
have clothes that can discreetly conceal your diaper. Consider the type
of clothing you feel most comfortable in and assess any specific
requirements based on your diaper size, style, and how discreet you
want your diaper to be under clothing. Look for clothing brands that
offer options suitable for your needs, such as looser-fitting styles,
high-waisted pants, dresses with forgiving silhouettes, or clothing
designed with adaptive features. The clothes you owned before you
switched to wearing diapers all the time may not work well anymore,
making it so that you have to go out and find new clothes.
Before purchasing clothing, read reviews from other individuals who
have similar needs or experiences. This can help you gauge the
suitability of certain clothing for accommodating diapers and provide
insights into comfort and discreetness. See if there are any thrift shops
nearby that you could shop at. At the very least, you’d be able to see
what styles work and what won’t work. Looser-fitting garments or those
made with stretchy fabrics can be more forgiving and provide comfort
in the way of peace of mind. Experiment with different cuts, lengths,
and materials to see what you feel most confident in. I’ve always
preferred darker clothing because they make leaks easier to hide.
Layering clothing can help you feel more at ease and provide an
additional layer of discretion. For instance, wearing longer tops,
cardigans, or jackets can help camouflage any visible signs of wearing a
diaper. Once you've found clothing options you're interested in, try
wearing them at home for extended periods. This will allow you to
assess comfort, functionality, and how well the clothing conceals your
59
diaper. Testing outfits in the comfort of your own space can help build
confidence before venturing out in public.
Start by going to low-pressure environments where you feel
comfortable and gradually increase your outings, like a movie theater or
a restaurant when it’s slow. I recommend you go to a place where you
normally wouldn’t go to lessen the chance of someone recognizing you
just so that you don’t have to worry about any of your friends finding
out about your little adventure.
By taking small steps, you can ease into wearing your chosen clothing
in public while boosting your confidence over time. In the beginning
stages of your training, I want you to go out and find a new outfit that
suits your diapered lifestyle. There’s no point in keeping any clothes
that won’t give you the confidence you need to be happy and
comfortable in public while diapered.
Personally, I don’t think onesies have a place in diaper dependency
training. While they are good at hiding the back of your diaper from
view while in public, they add a whole extra layer of clothing and more
padding to your butt. While they’re cozy and soft, they often get in the
way of changing and have caused me to leak faster. Diapers expand as
they get wet and since onesies compress your diaper, you may find that
you leak a lot more often. I’ve found onesies to be more of an aesthetic
thing rather than a practical thing.

Wearing Diapers Outside Your Home
If you’re afraid of wearing your diaper in public, what I recommend is
simple: wear the thinnest diaper you can depend on and don’t use it.
Treat it like you would panties or boxers and use the bathroom like you
normally would. Once you do this for a few weeks, you’ll see how easy
it is to wear in public. You’ll learn that nobody cares and that nobody
will notice a slightly wet diaper under your clothes, giving you the
confidence needed to wear a diaper that’s a little thicker when you start
using your diapers more regularly.
All that fear combined with that mean voice in your head telling you
that everyone is going to notice and laugh at you is baseless. We tend to
imagine the absolute worst situation when in reality, it’s never quite that
bad. Being confident in public while diapered is important because if
you act like you’re trying to hide something, people will give you more
than just a cursory glance. If you are naturally timid, then you must fake
it till you make it because even if you have to fake having confidence at
first, it will soon come naturally due to you getting adjusted to your new
normal. Nobody is going to notice that you’re wearing a diaper unless
it’s blatantly obvious. Skirts are a great way to hide diapers, even if it’s
soaked to the limit. Loose and dark pants are good for hiding diapers.
Before you go out in public for the first time while diapered, go stand in
front of the mirror, look into your eyes, and tell yourself several times
that you belong in diapers. Say it with a firm, confident tone of voice to
establish that fact in your mind. Drink a lot of water, then some juice,
soda, or coffee until you’re dribbling every five to ten minutes. This
ensures that you will have to wet for sure when you go out. Get yourself
changed into a fresh diaper, leave the house, and bring a big bottle of
water to sip on throughout your journey.
61
Wetting in public can be daunting at first, but all you really have to do
is wear a diaper you’re confident in. Before you go out and wet your
diaper in public, you must test it out at home first to see what it can and
can’t do. Diapers break down from walking around, especially in the
heat. When you’re out in public, if your diaper can normally take seven
wettings at home before it leaks, you should only give it five or six
wettings max before changing. This allows you to stay leak-free and
live the better life that you’re working towards.
If you can’t use your diaper while in public, push as hard as you can
until you get a little trickle out. Take a deep breath and repeat this
process until you have nothing left in your bladder. Peeing in unfamiliar
places can be scary at first but learning how to wet outside the comfort
of your own home is very important in your journey to become diaper
dependent. If you’re still having trouble, you can even go into the
store’s bathroom and use your diaper in a stall. If you’re uncertain about
changing a wet diaper in public, you can scope out potential bathrooms
that would allow you to change your diaper in private. Look for family
restrooms where there is only one room that has a door you can lock.
If you have to change in a bathroom where there are lots of stalls and
lots of people, your best bet is to use the one at the end for handicapped
people. On your way down to the handicapped stall, scope out nearby
trash cans for your used diaper to go into once you change into a fresh
one. Once you get inside the stall, if you’re nervous, take a deep breath
and know that you’ll be able to get through this real soon. Sure, people
will hear you ripping your tapes, but they aren’t going to stick around to
see who’s making that noise, so don’t worry what others will think.
62
Hang your diaper bag on the hook on the door and pull out a scented
trash bag. Don’t worry about the noise you make because nobody is
going to care. You’re there to take care of yourself and handle your
business just like everyone else in there. Once you have calmed
yourself down, open up your backpack and make the opening of your
diaper bag into a makeshift trash can with the scented trash bag. If you
have time and some privacy, wipe your diaper area down with some
baby wipes and stuff those in the trash bag. Once your fresh diaper is
taped on comfortably, tie up the trash bag then either toss it in the trash
or keep it in your diaper bag to throw away in a less public place.
When it comes to wearing diapers to your job, your safety and
discreetness is of the utmost importance. You are not required to train
while at work. Your job security, social life, and reputation is more
important than being dependent on diapers. Using your diaper at work
will be trickier than using your diaper in public, especially if you have a
job where you’re active.
I’ve found that it’s best to change my diaper every four to five hours.
You need to figure out the best place to change your diaper while you’re
at work and then find a good backup option. You should also plan on
changing on your lunch break, no matter how dry or soggy your diaper
is. This will help reduce the smells that come from wearing diapers,
further increasing your safety and peace of mind from wearing as
discreetly as possible.
As you see, once you learn a little bit about the lifestyle, it’s really not
as big a deal as we make it out to be in our head. I truly believe that
once you start venturing out into this new world of being diaper
dependent, you’ll quickly adapt to your new normal.
63
Working out While Diapered
You have to be careful if you choose to work out at a public gym while
diapered. Opt for a diaper that provides maximum comfort and
absorbency while being discreet under your workout attire. Look for
slim-fitting diapers that offer a secure fit while active and that minimize
bulkiness. I’ve always preferred Tranquility’s line of products for ultra
discreteness but you may find something else that works better for your
body.
You need to wear appropriate clothing that helps conceal the diaper.
Loose-fitting or layered clothing can mask any potential bulges or
outlines. Dark-colored bottoms may also help to minimize visibility.
Consider wearing compression shorts or leggings over your diaper.
These can help compress the diaper against your body, providing a
more streamlined appearance and reducing the chances of it being
noticeable. Emptying your bladder in the toilet before exercising can
also help reduce the need for frequent urination. I recommend only
using your diaper for accidental dribbles and not full bladder releases to
minimize the chances of leaks.
If you’re going to work out for a while, be sure to change your diaper
often. Familiarize yourself with the gym's changing facilities and locate
a private or designated area where you can discreetly change your
diaper as needed. The scent of sweat and urine trapped in a diaper will
be noticeable by others faster than normal, so be respectful and keep
yourself clean.
Your diaper will rub against your inner thighs while working out. One
diapers plastic may work better against your skin. One way to ensure
your skin’s health doesn’t get negatively impacted is to wear underwear
64
over your protection that stretches down your legs. By creating a barrier
between your legs and your diaper, you can lessen the impact of friction
against your skin. Be careful wearing creams or oils down there; you
may find that they eat away at the diaper and cause leaks far sooner
than expected.
Select the right exercises while you’re working out in a diaper. Opt for
exercises that don't put excessive pressure on the diaper and your
genitals. Low-impact exercises such as stationary biking, elliptical
training, or weightlifting are often more suitable. Avoid exercises that
involve excessive jumping or bouncing. Just use your best judgment
and do what feels right. Test out different workouts to see what you can
do while diapered.
If you feel nervous about working out in a public gym, you could
always find solutions to work out while at home. You can invest in a
treadmill, some weights, and a weight-lifting bench to keep yourself in
tip-top shape while still maintaining your dignity. This is the way I
would personally take. Working out at a public gym while diapered,
especially in my condition, would be so stressful for me. That’s why I
prefer to work out at home or go for long walks in my area. Walking is
a very low impact workout and has many health benefits, so if you’re
looking for a way to work out and get healthier, this would be your best
bet while in training.
65
Traveling with Diapers
Have you considered what you would do on vacations or work trips if
you were dependent on diapers? The first time is always a bit unnerving
and a little scary, but once you get through it, you’ll realize that it
wasn’t that bad and you might even come up with ways to improve your
experience on your next trip. Even if you’re not dependent on diapers
and just wear for fun, bringing diapers on any trip is a smart thing to do
because you might have a hard time finding a bathroom that you’d be
comfortable enough with to use.
When it comes to traveling with diapers, there are two main scenarios
you will face: driving or flying. Naturally, driving would be the
preferred method because you’d be able to pack as many diapers as
your heart desires, however, since driving can take a lot longer than
flying, you’re faced with an issue: do you prioritize the convenience of
getting to your destination faster or do you prioritize the convenience of
packing your diapers in your car?
Instead of flying, consider making your next vacation a road trip. Not
only would you not have to buy expensive plane tickets, you’d save a
lot of money on the rental car, too. If you really think about how much
time you spend between flying and compare it to how much time you’d
spend driving to your destination instead, you may see that it’s about
the same. For example, if you spend 1 hour getting to the airport, wait 2
hours for the plane, get delayed 2 hours, get on your plane that takes 2
hours to get to your destination, wait 1 hour in line for your rental car,
then finally drive 1 hour to your hotel from the airport, you end up
spending 9 hours doing all that. Even if you aren’t delayed, you’re still
sitting around for 7 hours. Wouldn’t you rather be driving through the
66
country? Stopping in old-fashioned diners? You’d be going on an
adventure that you can control.
If you do need to fly, your best bet would be to order and ship diapers to
whichever hotel you’re planning on staying at. Call ahead after you
make your reservation and ask if you can ship packages to the hotel or
you could just as easily have them shipped to an Amazon locker, a UPS
store, or a Fedex store that’s near the hotel. The amount of diapers
you’d need is simple: I’ve always used N + 2 where N is the number of
diapers you need a day. I’ve used more diapers on average while I’m on
vacation, so let’s say 6 diapers a day to be safe. 6 + 2 = 8 diapers a day.
If I’m there for 5 days, I need 40 diapers. While I probably won’t use all
40 diapers, having the peace of mind that I have enough protection to
last me a while is so reassuring.
Before you even step foot on the plane, you must do some careful
planning and packing. A bag of diapers sitting on its own doesn’t look
that big, but when you put it inside of a suitcase, it’ll look a lot bigger
than it really is. What I do is I stuff the first bag of diapers in my diaper
suitcase, then I’d open the second bag and start pushing diapers into
every little nook and cranny that I could get them into; same goes for
the third bag of diapers. Since your suitcase/duffel bag of diapers would
get checked to go under the plane, you would need to bring your diaper
bag with you onto the plane. This can be your day-to-day diaper bag
and you should put all the diapers you plan to use that day inside of it
plus one or two extras with enough scented trash bags for each diaper.
When you fly, you must be smart about how much liquid you drink in
the hours leading up to the flight.
Getting through security can be a bit tricky if you’re wearing a diaper.
Do your research ahead of time to see what you need to do when you
67
fly with diapers. You can either walk through security without a diaper
or you could wear one through security and tell the TSA that you’re
wearing an adult absorbent product if they ask. I recommend the second
option because the TSA people are used to people wearing diapers. If
you act confident and act like you need them, then they shouldn’t give
you any trouble at all.
If you haven’t flown anywhere in a while, the TSA has new machines
that are big walk-through body scanners. They have you stand inside of
a machine that scans you from head to toe, marking any suspicious
areas on your body on a screen. The TSA will then pat down those
areas to ensure that you aren’t trying to smuggle stuff. Even if your
diaper isn’t wet, the machine may still pick it up; it’s really sensitive. It
even picked up a replacement button sewn into one of my pockets years
ago. Annoyingly enough, the TSA had to pat me down.
When it comes to hotels, you must always be respectful of the hotel
staff and its guests. I recommend putting the “Do Not Disturb” sign on
the outside of your door and leaving it there for the duration of your
stay. You don’t need someone to make your bed, give you fresh towels,
and take out the trash every single day. Having the cleaning staff take
your used diapers from your room when you can easily do it yourself
could be considered rude, especially when the hotels usually have
dumpsters out back. If you do let room service change your trashcan
every day, at the very least leave a tip for them since they’re handling
your used diapers.
68
Self Improvement
Since we’re already improving one area of your life by going back into
diapers, let’s improve other areas of your life as well. I’m sure you can
think of some things you’d like to change about your life in addition to
giving up your bladder control to diapers. Improving my life with
diapers opened up my eyes and gave me a lot of ideas on how to make
my life even better.
What about making more money? What about finding a job where
you’d work from home? You could afford better diapers and have a
much easier time training. Diapers sure are expensive these days.
What about getting in shape and losing weight? You’d be able to fit into
smaller diapers and get more per bag. Diapers would become easier to
hide under your clothes. You’d be able to fit into that outfit you can’t
wear anymore. Eating better quality food has drastically improved my
productivity, mood, and general outlook on life because I’m not eating
chemicals made to look like food anymore. The moment I stopped
eating junk food was the day all of my stomach issues cleared up. Since
I now eat nothing but whole foods, I am losing weight, feel less hungry,
and have high levels of energy all throughout the day. By not spending
money on junk food, I’m able to afford food that makes me feel good.
Having the right mindset in life and in training is of the utmost
importance. Staying positive and making the best of your current
situation so that you can create a more positive future for your future
self is the key. Staying motivated and consistent with bettering yourself
will not only help you train to become dependent on diapers, it’ll
change your life for the better.
69
How To Make Diaper Money
Making enough money to cover your new expenses might seem
daunting at first, especially with how much good diapers cost these
days. However, I’ve come up with some ways for you to make some
extra money on the side to pay for your new expenses.
You can start a reselling business. Register your business as an LLC so
you can write off expenses at the end of the year. Write off the mileage
you put on your car while thrifting. Write off a portion of your home
and its utilities. Write off the cost of supplies for your business. When
it’s all said and done, if done properly, you could save thousands of
dollars and lower the amount you owe in taxes while also making
thousands of extra dollars on the side.
You can find all sorts of things to resell at thrift stores. Golf clubs,
books, DVDs, clothes, and so much more. This may take a little while
for you to get into but with enough time, you can easily make more than
enough profit to cover the cost of your diapers. Check the “Sold”
listings on eBay to see what items sell for before you buy them.
Facebook has a lot of “For Free” item groups where people just want
their stuff gone. If you have a bigger car like a truck or an SUV, you
could snag their furniture for free, clean it up, repaint it, then sell it for a
couple hundred bucks on Facebook Marketplace. Breathe life into
something old so it doesn’t have to be thrown in the dump.
If you know anything about cars, see if you can lowball cars on
Facebook Marketplace. Clean them up, ensure they run well
mechanically, then flip for a profit. There are many YouTube channels
that teach you what to look for when doing this.
70
You could also make content for the ABDL community. Write ABDL
fiction. Grow a fanbase. If you don’t know how to write fiction, learn
how to. It’s not that hard. Figure out how other good writers write and
mimic their writing style. Make your fantasies a reality through stories.
Make a Patreon/SubscribeStar account and make sub-only stories, offer
early access, and create value for supporting you. If you want to get
good at this, you’d have to spend a lot of time reading books.
You could also produce tasteful pics. Learn to draw and bring fantasies
to life. Just like you can do with writing fiction, you can take on
commissions and have people pay you to draw what they want.
Another great idea is to start some kind of social media channel or
streaming channel. YouTube, TikTok, and other social media websites
pay decently in ad revenue. Find a skill you’re proficient in and start
making videos. In time, the more videos you make, the more ads these
companies can show on your content, which in turn makes you money.
These videos don’t have to be related to diapers, either, they can be
about any of your other passions.
If you have stuff sitting around the house that you no longer use, sell it.
Have some old instruments you don’t play anymore? Computers you
don’t use? Clothes that don’t fit? Books you’ll never read again?
Accessories for hobbies? Everything has value, even something as
small as a video game. Clean up your items as best you can then list
your stuff on eBay and Facebook Marketplace.
Recently, I’ve been using receipt-scanning apps like Ibotta, Fetch, and
Upside. All three of these apps give you rewards for scanning your
receipts. Ibotta is by far the highest-paying app due to the way they
71
work. Some of my friends have made several hundred dollars per year
off of just Ibotta alone.
You could also drive for a ride-sharing app. Driving for Uber or Lyft
can help bring in some extra diaper money and it can also help you get
used to wearing diapers around other people. You can do this whenever
you want, however long you want, and at any time of day.
If that’s not your speed, pick up a part-time remote job. There are
numerous jobs you can do while you work from home, such as
customer service, data entry, and more. If you’re lucky and are great
with managing time, consider working more than one remote job at the
same time to double your pay. You don’t need to be the best, just get
your work done.
Work for your friends and family. Know some skill that’s useful to your
friends and family? Do you know how to fix computers? How to edit a
paper for school? Make a resume stellar for potential job seekers?
Spread the word around your friends and family that you’d be happy to
help them with whatever you can do. Price yourself cheaper than what
they’d pay at a store or from a professional service and you could easily
make some extra diaper money.
Amazon Affiliate Marketing can be huge. Open an Amazon Affiliate
marketing account. Whenever you review a product, link back to it with
your affiliate link and you’d earn a percentage of whatever that person
buys on Amazon. You can do more than just Amazon with affiliate
links, too. The more content you create, the more passive income you
can create. All it takes is a small video talking about how cool a product
is followed by a call to action (clicking your link/following you for
more/etc etc). Scaling this from small to large is incredibly easy.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you have any tips to make it easier to pee while sitting down?
Just like trying to pee while sitting in a car, if you sit at an angle that
kinks your urethra, it’ll make it hard to let the pee flow freely. When all
that pressure builds up, not only is it uncomfortable, it's not helping
your training, either. I’ve found that leaning back helps a lot in trying to
pee sitting down. Leaning forward not only makes it harder to pee while
sitting but it also compresses the diaper, making it harder for it to
absorb everything when you wet.
Should I train while at work? I don’t recommend it, but I do expect
you to be diapered at work. Before you fully commit to wearing diapers
24/7, I recommend that you look for places where you can change your
diaper at work. You can change in your car, in a single room bathroom,
or in a restaurant somewhere during your lunch break. Once you’ve
found some good places, start wearing a thin diaper to work. Don’t
worry about using it, just get used to being padded at work and use the
bathroom as needed. While you’re in the bathroom doing your business
in the toilet, think of how you would change your diaper and dispose of
it. I do not want you drinking a lot of fluids while at work just to wet a
lot because your chances of someone discovering your diaper will go
up.
When should I change my diaper? You should always strive to
change your diaper when you’ve used 80% of max usable capacity. I do
this because I know I'll always have a 20% reserve of dry padding and
time left to make it somewhere safe to change in case of an emergency.
If you don't have time later to change and you're at like 40% to 50% of
usable capacity left, just change to be safe because one diaper's cost is
73
not worth the embarrassment of leaking in public or around
friends/family.
While it's fun wearing thick diapers, those should be used when you
know for certain that you can properly soak them. However, in training,
you shouldn't worry about the cost/value per diaper because trying to
use up every last little bit of dry padding makes you stay in diapers
longer than you should. Remember, at its core, a diaper is plastic that
traps in heat, urine, and causes friction against our skin. This friction
weakens our skin which in turn allows infections to set in. If you aren't
able to properly saturate a thick diaper, you either need to drink a lot of
water before and during your wearing of it or you need to switch to a
diaper that's less absorbent. I like changing every 4 to 6 hours myself,
depending on a lot of different factors like sweat, how soggy I am, how
much the diaper broke down, and if I feel like I've gotten enough out of
that diaper.
I’ve been wearing 24/7 for months on my own without seeing any
loss of control. What gives? Simply wearing diapers won’t make you
dependent on them. The act of training and letting your bladder shrink
week after week is what creates a dependence upon diapers. You could
technically train without a diaper; all you’d have to do is go to the
bathroom very often and pee as soon as you feel the slightest amount in
your bladder.
So what’s this relaxed wetting? Why should I do it even when I’m
not diapered? The relaxed wetting is an exercise for your bladder that
promotes bladder shrinkage and increasing the urge to pee in smaller
amounts in time. To start, drink a lot of water before you go sit on the
toilet. Sit on it without a diaper and let your bladder muscles fully relax.
The toilet is a safe space to let yourself become vulnerable and open.
74
You don’t have to worry about holding your bladder anymore. Keep
your bladder and urethra relaxed to allow a steady dripping of urine.
Keep drinking water to produce urine.
This cycle is most exciting. The more often you pee, the less your
bladder is allowed to expand. The less it’s allowed to expand, the faster
your bladder will feel full. When your bladder starts feeling full sooner,
it’ll coax you into peeing more often in smaller and smaller amounts. If
you don’t use any given muscle, it’ll lose its strength. If you stop letting
your bladder expand and grow full of pee, it will shrink.
Once you have become accustomed to wetting freely on the toilet, you
can start wearing your diaper on the toilet while doing this exercise.
Once you start wetting freely on the toilet while diapered, you can then
transition to working on replicating that feeling of your bladder being
open and relaxed while sitting in a chair. You can then practice on
replicating that same feeling while sitting on bed, then on lying down in
bed. If you do the relaxed wetting for thirty minutes before bed for a
couple of weeks, you’ll find it very difficult to go to bed without a
diaper on. If you ever feel like you don’t want to wear your diaper for
whatever reason, go do the relaxed wetting. This will make your
bladder get so used to wetting and in such small amounts that it’ll get
used to dribbling, making you dribble into your panties or boxers as
soon as you stand up from the toilet.
What if my diaper’s tapes rip or come off? It depends on what kind
of rip we’re talking about. If the tape merely came off of the plastic it
was stuck onto, ensure that you place it down on smooth plastic. If you
place a tape down on wrinkled plastic, it’ll have a much more difficult
time holding on. Furthermore, every time you place a tape down, rub it
in vigorously. This friction creates heat which then helps bind the tape
75
to the diaper better. Lastly, tapes still may pop off if you tape your
diaper too tight. If you’re having issues with fit and a tight fit is the only
option, you’re wearing the wrong size. Diapers could also have bad
batches, too.
Do I need plastic panties/pants? Which ones should I get? If you’d
like an extra layer of protection, go right ahead. I’ve tried several
different kinds and I’ve found that NorthShoreCare makes the best
ones. It’s called the NorthShore Trifecta Waterproof Cover. The most
important part is to measure your thigh, not your waist or hips. Don’t
make the same mistake I did and try cheaper brands or knockoffs, even
if they are far less cheaper. Once they break, you’ll have to throw them
out and buy what I recommended in the first place. Cheap ones will
irritate your skin from walking, will break sooner, and won’t protect
you as well as the premium products.
What about wipes? Baby powder? Will I need those? Absolutely.
Wipes are great for wiping yourself clean in a pinch and I recommend
that you wipe your diaper area down with every change with some
wipes. I prefer using Pampers Sensitive wipes but have now switched to
the Kirkland brand from Costco. They’re perfume-free which helps you
remain stealthy. Powder is great when it’s hot outside and you start to
sweat inside your diaper. Baby powder will help you feel dry down
there but it doesn’t work miracles.
How do I take care of my skin and genitals down there? Wipe your
diaper area down with every change, shower every morning after
bedwetting and after work, and always use common sense. If something
feels off down there, stop wearing diapers, let yourself heal, then start
training again once you’ve healed. Showering after bedwetting all night
long is crucial. Showering before bed helps with skin care a lot.
76
Wouldn’t you rather go to bed feeling all clean and immaculate?
Wearing all day at work would make your diaper area all smelly, after
all. Moisturizers and shower gels, like products from Dove, work
wonders in keeping your skin soft and healthy. Diapers subject our
diaper area to germs and bacteria that normally go in the toilet, so we
must do whatever we have to do to keep ourselves healthy.
During the day, I recommend changing every eight hours at the latest,
no matter how soggy or dry your diaper is. Wearing the same diaper for
that long creates a breeding ground for bacteria and other germs that
normally shouldn’t be there, all trapped in by plastic. Since diapers
break down from heat, friction from movement, and from getting wet
from sweat, urine, and other liquids, the level of protection that it
provides lessens over time. Remember, the point of training isn’t to
soak every diaper to its limit. It’s to retrain your bladder to act a certain
way. Soaking a diaper near its limit will make your bladder seize up
because it fears leaks which will keep you from using your diaper. This
will make your bladder expand which is exactly what we don’t want to
happen.
Wiping down with every change is important because it cleans your
skin and leaves you feeling fresh in a new diaper. Wiping your skin and
private parts with baby wipes also removes the bacteria and germs
found in urine, too. Over time, your skin will get used to being in close
proximity to urine for extended periods of time, but until then, you must
take care of your skin.
Why do I need to stay hydrated? Can’t I just keep drinking sodas?
You need to stay hydrated to keep peeing. The only way you can
successfully train is by drinking water. The more you pee, the faster
you’ll become dependent on diapers. When you’re well-hydrated, your
77
urine will be clear and odorless. When it becomes yellow, it starts to
smell and is a sign you aren’t drinking enough water. Your urine always
needs to be clear. It is absolutely imperative that you drink mostly water
while training. Drinking more of any other liquid will dehydrate you
and will impede your training.
It’s okay to drink anything other than water to help make you pee more,
but you absolutely cannot replace water with it. Water is essential to
training. If you don’t drink enough, not only will you be dehydrated,
you’ll get headaches, feel bad, sleep worse, and you won’t be able to
wet your diapers enough. It’ll make training super hard.
What’s the difference between the cheap diapers you can buy in
pharmacies vs. the premium ones you buy online? Can’t I just wear
the cheap ones? The difference is staggering. Not only do premium
diapers hold more, they are a pleasure to wear and have a lot of other
features that cheap diapers don’t. Modern premium diapers have all
kinds of features like scent-lock, having a dry top layer when you're
wet, and many more that make a life in diapers easier. Cheap diapers
like the ones you can buy at Wal-Mart, Target, or pharmacies should
only be bought in emergencies if you’ve completely run out of diapers.
How long is it okay to stay in a messy diaper? There’s no way to say
how long it’s fine to stay in a messy diaper. I’ve always changed within
seconds to fifteen minutes tops because the risk of bladder infection
from bacteria on feces is a lot higher with women due to a much shorter
urethra. If you do mess yourself, change quickly to avoid this risk.
While men have a longer urethra, the risk still remains for them. Letting
feces anywhere near your urethra’s opening is like playing with fire.
Getting a bladder infection or a UTI is very painful; it feels like it burns
every time you pee. Do not risk it.
78
What do I do if I get a rash? First and foremost, figure out the reason
why you got a rash. Common reasons include wearing a diaper too
long, wearing an ill-fitting diaper, wearing a cheap diaper, and many,
many more. Walking creates friction and heat which can make rashes
appear. If you do get a rash, clean your diaper area off, dry yourself,
then apply a rash cream. Let yourself heal before you start training
again. If you are at the point where you can’t go without a diaper, limit
how much you walk if you can to reduce irritating your rash.
Should I wear plastic-backed or cloth-backed diapers? I’ve always
worn plastic-backed diapers because they fit me better, hold their shape
well, hold in smells better, and for many other reasons. Cloth-backed
diapers let smells out, lose their shape much faster, and have made my
inner thighs chafe unlike plastic-backed diapers.
What about pull-ups? Can I wear those? I recommend wearing those
in select situations, like you need protection but don’t want to put on
your regular diaper just yet. I always put a pull-up on before I step out
of the shower because otherwise I’d dribble all down my legs and make
a mess. I recommend staying away from little kid’s products because
they are designed for a kid’s bladder, not an adult’s.
How do I tell people about my diapers? What about my friends?
Family? It should be on a restrictive need-to-know basis. With the
increasing popularity of people discussing the importance of mental
health, you could easily say that they give you peace of mind when you
go out in public or to unfamiliar places. Trying to find a clean public
bathroom is hard, after all. You could also say something about having a
shy bladder and your inability to pee around others especially in new
areas. As for friends/family, it'd be a bit harder to explain because
79
everyone's situation is so drastically different. Your best bet would be to
nonchalantly frame it like it’s nothing new and that it’s not a big deal.
Even then, I would refrain from telling your family unless it was
absolutely necessary. My parents don’t know about my need for
diapers. I’ve only told a few select friends because they were going to
find out eventually.
What about boosters? Should I use them? Your mileage may vary
with boosters. I’ve found that when I used them, they would soak up
my urine and then stand above my leak guards. This made me leak a lot
more often so I stopped using them for good. I’ve found that I last
longer without a booster than compared to if I was wearing one.
What should my diaper bag have in it? What should I use as my
diaper bag? You need spare diapers of various absorbencies to cover
any situation, a change of clothes, powder, scented trash bags, and
whatever else you deem important to have in there. I also recommend
having a large, separate diaper bag that you stow in your trunk that
holds more of what you put in your diaper bag. You can use any old
backpack as your diaper bag; it doesn’t need to be anything made
specifically to hold diapers. I use my old backpack from high school.
Do I need to listen to hypnosis to achieve my goals of becoming
diaper dependent? No, but it’s highly recommended because it helps
get you into the right headspace and accept certain truths. Hypnosis
isn’t what movies and TV shows make it out to be. You don’t magically
go to sleep because someone snaps their fingers. Hypnosis and the
power of suggestion only works if what you’re listening to is what you
truly want. If there’s even a small part of you that doesn’t want the
effects to happen then you won’t notice any effects until you really
search your soul and settle on what you want.
80
https://mylittlelullaby.com/about-hypnosis/ has a great explanation for
what you should expect from hypnosis. Remember that you must use
good headphones. Speakers will not work because they let in outside
noise that can and will easily distract you. Personally, when the Baby
Pants bedwetting file brings me out of trance, I usually feel my heart
rate rapidly increase, making me more alert. That's when I experienced
progress in bedwetting.
Why do my legs hurt from walking with a wet diaper? Your legs
hurt from walking with a wet diaper because the diaper is pushing your
legs apart, forcing you to use different muscles in your legs. You will
have to practice walking while soggy. If you want to get used to it
quickly, you can wear one of the Rearz Omutsu bulky diaper covers
over your existing diapers for an hour or two at a time while at home.
By the time you take your cover off, you’ll feel like the current soggy
diaper doesn’t make you waddle all that much anymore because you’re
used to the added bulk.
How can I transition to wearing full-time? Some people can go right
into it and never wear panties/boxers again, though I've noticed a lot of
people still struggle with the basics for many reasons. What I propose is
simple: try wearing 24/7 for a few days straight. You don’t need to use
the diaper for anything and can still use the toilet. If you’re able to wear
24/7 for a few days straight, then take a day off, like anywhere from 12
to 24 hours or so and then go for 5 to 7 days diapered.
It’s easier to transition to wearing 24/7 gradually than doing it cold
turkey. Staying motivated to keep wearing your diapers is hard, so why
not reward yourself with every change? A small piece of candy can
help. Getting used to wearing diapers is hard, so by using positive
81
reinforcement and associating the pleasures of eating candy with your
diapers can help when you don’t feel like wearing. I read online that it
takes a couple of weeks to a month for a new routine to set in, so if you
can wear your diapers for that long, you'll have a higher chance of
remaining in diapers. For those new to training, it's okay to take breaks
here and there so long as you remain in diapers for longer and longer
periods of time in the future.
What can I do when I don’t want to wear a diaper anymore? Accept
those feelings. Don’t fight it because if you associate negative feelings
towards your diapers, you may give up training altogether and you
don’t want that. You wouldn’t be here reading this if you didn’t want to
become dependent on diapers. If you wear primarily white diapers, try
switching to printed ones when you’re not in the mood.
If you don’t want to put on a plain white diaper, maybe you’d feel better
in a cute printed one. I used to set aside my favorite diapers for times
when I just didn't really feel like putting on my next diaper. The only
time I'd get to wear those was when I wasn't in the mood and that
helped a lot because I really enjoyed wearing and using them.
What kind of sacrifices will I need to make if I want to become
dependent on diapers? Like with anything in life, nothing worth it is
free or easy. There will always be pros and cons to anything. For our
situation in becoming dependent on diapers, you will find it harder to
date, to exercise, to go swimming, and more. You will need to come to
terms with these things and do some soul-searching to see if this is
something you really want. If you give up swimming and going to the
gym for diapers, in return you get constant comfort, the ability to use
the bathroom anywhere, and so much more.
82
How can I stop feeling bad about my desires to wear and use my
diapers? What it boiled down to for me was personal acceptance. We
are born unique and special in our own ways. Some people develop
diaper fetishes while others develop underwear fetishes. While some
people are born with receding hairlines or poor eyesight, others are born
with natural beauty and don't have to work hard to look good. When we
compare ourselves to others, we will always want what we cannot have.
Feeling badly about this in the beginning can happen if you aren't able
to accept this side of you. Maybe you have a little side that loves
dressing up in cute onesies or maybe you just love using diapers. It
doesn't matter why you're into this fetish, what matters is how you
handle it. What’s important is that you deserve to be the real you.
We only have one life to live. Don't hold yourself to high standards
based on some notion of what your idea of society would think of you.
They don't know you and they honestly don't give a damn about what
you do with your life. If wearing diapers makes you happy, then great!
What matters most is your happiness. When you stop worrying about
what other people will think of you, then you'll live a happier life.
How can I accept this side of me and embrace it? You must first
develop an inner confidence and be assertive. When I first started
wearing diapers in public, I was terrified that people would point and
laugh at me. In my mind, I was a normal person that didn’t need a
diaper; it made me feel out of place and like I didn’t belong. To me,
wearing that diaper made me not normal. When I realized that they
would only see an incontinent woman instead of seeing a normal person
doing something kinky, that really helped me get over my fears and
allowed my training progress to the point where I now need diapers.
83
How do I overcome that inner voice that’s always making me worry
about “getting caught”? It is important to make it clear that since you
aren’t doing anything wrong, that means that you can’t “get caught”.
You’re just wearing a different kind of underwear. Do you think women
“get caught” wearing push-up bras? Of course not; that’s such a silly
thing. Diapers are the exact same way.
Overcoming fears like someone hearing your diaper or otherwise
similar fears requires a rewiring of your brain. Identifying as an
incontinent person and living life with their mindset is crucial because
do you think that they would care if someone "finds out" about their
diaper? Of course not. They aren't actively hiding it. It's like seeing
someone wearing ankle socks instead of regular socks. It's just
something that people wear and use every day. A diaper is no different.
Learning to not care about the sounds your diaper makes is very
important. Use common sense and try to not wear the crinkliest diaper.
If you wear good clothes that hide your diaper, you shouldn't have to
worry about anything. Are you spending time trying to figure out what
kind of panties/boxers people are wearing as you pass them in real life?
Of course not. In the same manner, people aren’t trying to figure out
what kind of underwear you’re wearing.
People are so absorbed in their own lives that they don't give a damn
about you and what you're wearing, just like how you don't give a damn
what someone else is wearing. The "someone will hear it" fear is only
in your head. You know exactly what a diaper sounds like because you
use them. However, someone who doesn't wear diapers will just hear a
noise among all the other sounds going on and will pay it no mind
whatsoever. People don’t waste their time and energy trying to figure
out what every single little sound is.
84
If you are in a silent area, like a movie theater or if you're hanging out
with friends, if you know your diaper will rustle as you stand up, you
can either start talking as you get up, clear your throat, mess with your
car keys in your hand, or do anything else to make a disguising sound.
However, you don't want to make it too obvious. If you hang out with
the same people enough while you're diapered, they may notice a
change in your groin or butt and ask about it. Good friends will accept
your need for diapers. Bad friends won't. Cut the bad friends out of your
life and move on.
My genitals hurt from wearing my diaper. What causes this? That
can be caused by a diaper that's taped too tight. A diaper expands in
both directions when wet. It expands outwards, making an obvious
outline against your clothes while also expanding inwards, putting
pressure against one's genitals. When you tape on a fresh diaper it'll feel
fine because it hasn't expanded yet. If you know how a diaper will
expand, you can tape it looser up front so that it'll have room to grow as
you wet it throughout the day. It is perfectly acceptable to go up a size if
it means you'll be protected better. You can also retape a wet diaper to
make it more comfortable to wear.
I noticed that I’m starting to dribble in between changes. Is that
normal? It sure is! It’s also a great sign that you’re making progress in
training. That means that your bladder is getting used to just being
open. Wetting frequently, like 4-8 times an hour, will eventually lead to
this result. Accept it, pat yourself on the back, and keep on training.
You’re doing great!
How do I stay cool down there? I don’t like it when my diaper area
gets all sweaty and icky. When it comes to the summer heat and
diapers, it's best to wear thinner diapers. You want to change more often
85
to keep your skin safe, dry, and free of urine and the odors associated
with it. Since you would be changing more often, you don't need a thick
diaper when you go outside because it'll break down faster and you will
lose a certain amount of absorbency. Your best bet would be something
around 3k to 4k mls, but nothing less than that.
As for staying cool down there, a light application of baby powder will
help you stay dry. Baggy shorts or a sundress will also be your best bet.
If you're worried about the wind blowing your dress up, you can wear
some protection shorts on top of your diaper, but if you're not worried
about the wind, then by all means, go without the shorts. You should
stay well-hydrated, and this means getting hydrated before going out as
well as staying hydrated while out and about. Gatorade/Powerade are
good options. You do not have to actively train while out and about,
either. You are required to wear a diaper, but you are not required to pee
a ton while out in public unless you are training for a special event, like
changing in public.
What do I do if someone sees my diaper? If you're concerned about
people seeing your diaper, you need to learn to not care. Diapers are
normal, and I recommend wearing plain diapers while out in public.
People don't think twice if they see a white diaper, but if they see a
printed one, they might start to think something is up. You should never
expose your diaper to others. You should always wear clothing that
adequately hides and conceals your diaper. It should not be obvious that
you're diapered when you're out and about.
Can I wear onesies while in training? Up to you, but it might hurt
more than help. Onesies compress the diaper and since diapers are
designed to expand when wet, a tight onesie will keep the diaper from
expanding which in turn will result in a leak. The only way to get
86
around this is to wear looser onesies. Personally, I stopped wearing
them years ago because they were just another layer of clothing. They
can make it easier for others to see your diaper because this extra layer
of clothing just adds more bulk to your bottom.
Why do I feel bad about changing out of a diaper that’s only
slightly damp? Did I just waste a diaper? Not at all. You have to
change your thinking. You're still thinking in terms of cost per diaper,
making you want to get your money's worth out of it before changing.
However, it's healthier for you and your skin to change out of a slightly
damp diaper if you've been in it for hours. You'll just have to drink more
water to avoid that in the future.
Furthermore, you don't want to take off a slightly-used diaper only to
try to reuse it at some point later. That’s just not healthy. Diapers are a
tool. They are meant to be used up and thrown away. It doesn't matter if
it's slightly wet or soaked. You can't put a price on your skin's health,
either. The cost of a diaper is around $1 to $2. Is it worth that small
amount of money if it'll harm your skin? Of course not.
How do I build trust with my diaper and why is it important? You
need to find a diaper that you can depend on no matter what. You need
to see how much abuse that diaper can take, whether it be in public
walking around, wetting lying/sitting down, or wetting while at work.
Once you know what it can take and what it can't, you'll start trusting
your diaper. In order for trust to form, you need to see at what point
your diaper leaks while at home. Once you feel that your diaper is
getting near that point when you're out in public, that's when you'll need
to change. Never wait until the diaper is about to leak. Always change
when you still have 20% capacity remaining as a safety buffer.
87
Is it okay to stay in a soggy diaper? Soggy diapers, while fun, are not
a good thing while you are in diaper training. A soggy diaper has very
little to zero capacity remaining. This makes it useless to you and
should be changed immediately. Furthermore, you have a higher chance
of being found out since the diaper is poofing out through your bottoms.
You should always strive to keep your diapers as discreet as possible.
Wearing a soggy diaper will impede your training because your body
knows that the diaper has reached its limit and will subconsciously hold
your pee. If you have any doubts that your diaper might leak, change at
the first chance you get. I usually change myself before my diaper gets
fully soggy when I'm out in public because it keeps my diaper bulge
discreet and if I for some reason can't change later, I don't have to worry
about leaking because I'm in a fresh diaper.
What is flooding and why shouldn’t I do it? Flooding your diaper is
the act where you release a full bladders worth of urine into your
diaper. You never want to flood your diaper in this manner because
diapers aren’t designed to handle fast and heavy streams of urine that
well. Your urine will start to pool in your diaper as it struggles to absorb
it all. If you flood your diapers, that means you held your pee and let
your bladder expand. That’s bad. You want to pee as soon as you feel
anything at all in your bladder. Peeing in smaller amounts is exactly
what you need to do every day. Stop letting your bladder fill up.
How do I handle taking a shower when I start to lose my bladder
control? It's okay to pee in the shower once you start to dribble without
feeling it or thinking about it. You're supposed to be dribbling
constantly, so it's perfectly natural and acceptable to tinkle in the
shower a bit. I used to hold baby diapers against me to catch my little
dribbles in the shower but that got old pretty quickly. However, I still
88
put on a cheap pull-up before I step out of the shower. I keep a bag of
them sitting on top of the toilet’s water tank. You have to accept that
you're going to be diaper dependent soon and you should get used to
your new normal sooner rather than later.
Lately, I’ve been using pads inside of panties. Yes, I know, wearing
panties isn’t supposed to be allowed. However, they allow me to wear a
pad that keeps my costs low. Wearing a pull-up for maybe ten minutes
is rarely cost-effective so the panties/pads combo has really cut down
on my expenses. I only recommend this once you have lost your
bladder control or if you can resist the urge to use your old undies
again.
Do I really have to change once I wake up? When you get out of bed,
you should shower and change rather quickly because after wearing and
using your diaper all throughout the night, it should be rather soggy.
Even though it feels awesome to wake up soggy, the diaper will have a
high chance of leaking if you try to pee in it more.
Should I put myself on a changing schedule? What if I don't use up
my diaper all the way? It is a good idea to put yourself on a changing
schedule. It'll keep you accountable and help motivate you to stay
hydrated and wetting constantly. Let's say you change every 4 to 6
hours during the day. If your diaper isn't used up all the way, you should
either drink more fluids or switch to a diaper with less capacity.
Remember, the focus isn't to get the most money out of each diaper, it's
to retrain your bladder to act a certain way. If you stay in a used diaper
to get more value out of it, you'll potentially harm your body and limit
your training progress. Staying in a diaper with little capacity left will
make your bladder stay shut and limit your progress.
